Is no 3D vision the same as no Depth Perception?

It's the same as no depth perception because depth would be the third dimension, now wouldn't it?

Do you play dodgeball in Canada, or any analogue of it? Cuz no depth perception would suck for that game.

I was asking because many elementary schools have started to ban dodgeball because "it defeats self image and hurts feelings." I think I would play it more, if it wasn't for an old knee injury that has me nervous to play.

If we were all able to meet somewhere, I would totally start up a forum wide dodgeball game, and I would even be captain of the team named "The Fat Kids In Dodgeball", cuz we be comin' for respect.

I think we played dodge-ball for a bit at school in PE after we weren't allowed to do 'Bulldog' in rugby training anymore.

edit ~
Just read those rules on there. I lolled at 'French Bulldog' seems pretty poncey. Our rules were, you had to bring the person to the ground or drag them back over the line they just ran from... there were lots of bloodied noses and broken limbs so it got banned :(

There are a lot of schools that have banned dodge-ball.... but I think anyone older than 12 has played it...
I heard on the news that many schools are trying to ban tag from schools because of the same reason. I guess the slower fat kids get tagged the most and the sissy ones cry. Boo boo go home sissy!

See only girls used to play Dodgeball at our school before Bulldog was banned.
That or rounders in the summer. It really doesn't seem like a bannable game??? You're just throwing footies at each other, big whoop...

We used to play 'Red Ass' in Elementary School.

As for Dodgeball, we were in high school before everyone turned into sissies.

We played "Sokem"..I really, really don't know how to spell it. Pronounced "Soak 'em". It was Dodgeball, but we didn't call it that.

It was never allowed at the school, but it was allowed at the Daycare AT school. Which was strange.

Four-square and a version of Soccer was what we played.

I remember playing a mix of soccer and rugby that was much closer to the original form of football than any of the modern games.

we didn't really play dodge ball down here in Aussie land, we have NRL/Rugby league and Aussie Rules Football.. much more tougher, and British bulldog wasn't banned in our schools until some guy got a dislocated shoulder with a fractured arm.. other then that it was just black eyes and bloody noses.. teachers didn't mind, just toughened us up :P

there a game kids play that sounds the same... but it was called "Nukem"... its played on a volleyball court and you throw the ball over the net and catch it or something.... i never got it.. i was like "just play volleyball..."

We played Nukem. I never saw the point. It's like volleyball for lazy people.

You would have 9 people on each side of the court, and you were allowed to catch the ball. You could throw it to one person before you had to throw it back over the net, and the process continued.

Of course, this was in no way similar to the fast paced game of volleyball, but was more like a "Oh, I have a ball in my hands. Let me look around and pass the ball to one of my friends. Alright, he has it. Let him sit there for a moment and then gently pass the ball to his friend on the other team."

It kinda sucked.
