In the begining there was Quake World, then there was Team Fortress (Quake Mod) a class based team game with CTF and other fun modes, then there was Team Fortress Classic (Half-Life Mod) Now theres Fortress Forever (Half-Life 2) also Valve is making their own version called Team Fortress 2

All I know is that TF2 comes with the Orange Box for 360 with like 3 different HL2 games or something, and Portal, which looks really awesome.

Played it, my Clan had completely full servers around the clock for two days, then we closed them and we're opening up 3 TF2 servers in...10 minutes. Whatever. As soon as it opens.

We have 100 people in Vent right now waiting, and that's JUST in Vent...Christ.

I've preordered the Orange Box, since I absolutely MUST HAVE Portal, and the price was excellent to get all the other cool stuff too.

I've only ever played and beaten Halflife, so getting a chance to play through the sequel (pieces?) will be rather nice. Team Fortress seems like it will be a ton of fun as well. And did I mention Portal?

Because seriously.... Portal. I mean, just.... it's Portal.

Oh come on Alex, upgrading so soon? You can easily handle such great progams as Scorched Earth and Microsoft Word! Why throw your money away?

It comes with Portal, and there'll be more people playing it?

you can get portal seperatly via steam. nothing else in the organge box is worth it imho.
FF looks pretty cool. I wish there was a TF variant for Quake 4 but alas, no. At least ET:QW is TF style. Hopefully people will make maps for it that are ports of the original TF like they always do. :D

FF is okay, I like what the team did on it.

But I think TF2 might be more polished an experience then FF. FF is just TFC with better graphics while TF2 apparently has some different gameplay mechanics.

I've never been into everything other than Half-Life so I don't really know much about TF2, or even what this FF you're talking about is. What's it like? I saw a commercial for TF2, with the engineer, damn funny stuff makes me intrigued.

What has my hopes up for this Orange Box is Portals and HL2: Eps 1 & 2. Mother f***in Portals in my mother f***in training facility! I can't wait!
