So I suggest that we kick them all in the nuts hard, rape them for as much money as we can possibly ascertain and pretty much make our excellent game a pile of steaming shite. How can we go about this?"

I don't think companies can force you to play games you don't want to. You kind of have to get a hold of a game, and put it in your system/load it. Last I heard, most game companies don't go to peoples houses and force you to play certain games.

Final Fantasy XI. World of Warcraft. .Hack//The World.

Games are being created for the online market.

I'm with Allen on this one.
I can't think of a signature.

Imma say this to all of you

Did I go out and buy Matrix reloaded and Matrix Revolutions? Hell No
Was the series and brand name worse off for those movies and made some fanboys cry? Fuck yes.

Just because you don't play a game doesn't mean you can't spite the creators for taking your favourite series and dragging it into the mud.

This being said I really feel nothing about having elder scrolls being turned into a mmo

our excellent game

We must have been playing a different game, one that didn't require the 300 megabyte fan mad mod to get rid of the shitty leveled monsters and loot. One that didn't give you shit dialog and didn't make murdering someone in the sticks fucking impossible because the moment you did it people in the imperial city started gossiping about it.

I love my non-linear rpgs, but Oblivion was a short sharp kick in the balls.

I think perhaps he was praising the series as a whole, which is accurate, because Elder Scrolls pwns. Morrowind was great, Oblivion was less so. It focused more on the beauty of how it looked, and the working of the system, rather than the trivialities of dialog, story and logic.

It's a pity that everyone in it was so ugly then, and that every single rock gleamed like it was covered in slime.

Every sequel sucks, every band ever has sold out and every game that expands to online play is literally murdering your kittens with a brick.

Look dude, I know you are being sarcastic, but there is seriously no way for an online version of TES to not suck! Also something about raping my childhood.

LOL. Seriously, major LOL right there. :D Had me really laughing for a bit. Ah, I always have my serious doubts about whenever something's MMOasised. Take Matrix Online for example...That's pretty much dead these days. :P Had they made that free to play, I reckon they would have made a SHITE load more money. Oh well, their loss.

And I do believe Random was speaking to himself yes....Always interesting to see someone post when they have multiple personalities disorder. ;)

I was, I really liked both Morrowind and Oblivion (never played Daggerfall) which is weird because generally i really really hate RPGs. Maybe it's just Japanese RPGs i can't stand though, it's just something about the fact you're awarded for how long you play rather than how good you are at it (and yes i realise you can be awarded for how good you are at it but the ratio still stands against skill and toward longevity). Ah well, it's my opinion and the only thing i despise more than general rpgs are freaking MMOs. I can't believe i've actually heard some people who play WOW call Assassin's Creed repetitive!!!
