I never did get to try dnL. I meant to as well.

I think this needs a top ten list created by forum goers. Gamefuel needs to be on worst. Tasted like rancid bubblegum flavor. And of course there is Pepsi Blue.

And can we get that thread title changed to soda instead of pop. Because what kind of self respecting person calls it pop.

Most Canadians call it pop. I do not really like any pop - I rarely drink it and when I do it is some form of root beer.

Best soda flavour: beer.

I guess I would have to say that the worst soda flavour is any soda flavour.

I loved MD Code Red.
I loved Orbit.

I despised Pepsi Blue, Pepsi Jazz (any version), and practically any 'energy' drink (they all taste like warm carbonated slightly fermented orange juice).

Okay, guys. Shut up with the 'soda' shit. It's 'soda pop', okay? That's the full name. You're both equally right, but the people who are saying pop are more right because they're not being nitpicking jacktards.

I miss Crystal Pepsi, oddly.

I'm just saying soda sounds less lame. Everytime I hear pop I think of Hop on Pop and Dr. Suess which totally is not hardcore awesome. I say we use a new even harder core word for Soda pop from now on. Like "Crystal Meth in a can." Or "Tractor Trailer Sex in a Parking Lot." Or better yet. "RRRAAAAAGGGHH!!!" As in "Could you grab me a RRRAAAAAAGGGHH!!!" or maybe "I sure am parched. Lets go grab some RRRAAAAAAGGGHH!!!"

Nope. And here in my corner of Canadia, Code Red comes and goes as popularity fluctuates. It's been gone for a couple of years now.

...Anyone else remember Orbit? The weird soda with the drifting balls of sweet candy substance floating about inside? It weirded out everyone but me...

I believe the soda you are referencing is Dr. Who-per: "The ultimate combination of British Sci-fi and soda."

You see, I have this theory. Everyone has "their" soda and "their" candybar. You always stick by it, even if you do stray sometimes. Mine is Dr. Pepper and Butterfinger. If they came out with a Butterfinger-flavored Dr. Pepper line I would be soo happy.

Oh, this doesn't, of course, work with the people who don't eat candybars or drink soda.

I lol'd at this thread, thinking how can you taste bad music?, but alas. Pop. The drink. An endearing if slightly silly word for carbonated drink, although the Australian Soft Drink is hardly accurate nomenclature either.

Idea: Why don't we call it fizz? It would be the first accurate name for soda.

Actually it is. A Hard Drink is a beverage containing alcohol. A Soft drink does not. So while all nonalcoholic drinks, such as regular lemonade, water, or milk, are soft drinks as well, the term is most often associated with sodas.

Also Xiang brought up another good reason not to call it pop. Pop Music is never a good thing. Brit. . .*shudder* . . .ney. . . *shudder shudder*. . . Spears. *shudder seizure*
