Need a Good Game

Postby Allen! » 01 Jan 2008, 08:46

I shall acquire this game 100% legally, no doubt of that.
So... Suggestions, plox? And yes, I've already played Portal, and no, my computer can't handle Crysis.

Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri.

It's a classic.

AC is tempting, but I dunno. Looking for something I haven't played yet(which is why I'm not automatically jumping for Fallout 2).
N is.. not so much. I'm kind of after something I can totally immerse myself in, which is why I'm tempted to snag Doom 3.

I found the tens column to be easier than the ones column, so once you get stuck on the ones, start the tens.
I've beaten the first two columns, and I'm part way through most of the other columns.

If you haven't played Psychonauts, do so. I just downloaded that game from XBL and love it.

I was waiting for Lavos to do it.
I'm not denying that's all it was.

Or you could try the original game from Supreme Commander's creator: Total Annihilation, old game that still gets a lot of user created content :)

Supreme Commander was fun for a few days but it is no Starcraft.

Knytt Stories! It's pretty and fun and free.

Knytt Stories gets boring after you beat the first scenario because all the other scenarios are pretty much the same (albeit some are prettier).
I can't think of a signature.

Well, I didn't say he should marry it.

It's a good way to spend a few hours, anyway, and a few of the third party scenarios are actually quite good. Don't Eat The Mushroom comes to mind.
