Songs you'd like to see in Rock Band/Guitar Hero?
Songs you'd like to see in Rock Band/Guitar Hero?
An easy question.
Any songs that you'd personally like to play in Rock Band, or Guitar Hero?
My personal favourite, as inspired by Eyewitness Accounts, would be Rock Lobster by the B-52s. Given the strange instrumentation though, with only one guitar (no bass), keyboards, drums and vocalist, it wouldn't go too well with Rock Band... but it does have a cowbell bit.
Others from my playlist...
-Any song by Blur
-SYSTEM OF A DOWN, any song
And, real unlikely, given the language, but SOOO AWESOME....
-America, Fuck Yeah!, from Team America.
Yourself?

I don't know what songs are or aren't available since I don't own Rock Band, and GH III is the only game of its kind that I do own. So if I put up songs already listed, then please forgive my shameful nubbery.
- Journey, "Don't Stop Believing"
-Boston, "More Than A Feeling"
-Alice Cooper, "Feed My Frankenstein"
-Billy Joel, "We Didn't Start The Fire"
-Foreigner, "Juke Box Hero"
-Franz Ferdinand, "Take Me Out" **NEVERMIND, in GH 1**
-Almost every song from Green Day
-Europe, "The Final Countdown" (I am not ashamed to suggest this)
-Kid Rock, "Bawtidaba"
-Modest Mouse, "Float On"
-Ozzy Osbourne, "Crazy Train"
-The Ramones, "I Wanna Be Sedated" and "Blitzkrieg Bop"**NEVERMIND, in RB**
-Scandal, "The Warrior"
-The Strokes, "Heart In A Cage"
-Though it'd be near impossible unless there's a keyboard attachment, "Dare To Be Stupid" by Weird Al
-Jefferson Starship, "We Built This City" (also not ashamed to suggest this)
-The Ventures, "Miserlou"
And, even though it's already on GH III, I would LOVE to play the adapted version of "Devil Went Down To Georgia" on Rock Band.

Except for the Billy Joel and some Green Day, MOST of those songs would drive me batshit insane if I had to hear them more than once.

Just by memory, I think the only one from that list that's been in a game is Take Me Out, which was in Guitar Hero 1.
It was a horrible cover version though.
I am totally waiting for a keytar attachment.

I know that The Metal was in GHIII, and a lot of the bands that appeared in one GH game appeared in the next.
Tribute would be great fun.
And, MORE MUSE. Knights of Cydonia was kick-ass... now put it in Rock Band by the time I get it, and give me MORE MOTHERFUCKING MUSE!
And, one for Rock Band more so than GH, but... Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc. Light guitar parts, bass riff, good singing, simplistic drums.
Woland owes me 10 points.

-AC/DC -It's a long way to the top <---But we would need some bagpipes
-Johnny B Goode -Chuck Berry, Actually, GH and RB need more rockabilly and not only Straycats ¬¬
-Anything with Elvis
-Sweet Home Chicago - The Blues Brothers Band <--- I love this version
Also, It'd be awesome if we could get music from other parts of the world and in some other languages, this could be hard to do for RB, but there is a lot of amazing music out there and not all of it is in english, props to GH for including Heroes del Silencio's Avalancha

I would really like to see D is for Dangerous by Arctic Monkeys its got great drums a swinging bass-line and plenty of guitar not to mention entertaining lyrics.
They even have a "Halford Harness" but no Judas Priest... Rock Band could have a great three pack with Breaking the Law, Living After Midnight, and Hell Bent for Leather.

Any track from the Heavy Metal Machine EP by Steel.
I would imagine a track much like "Still Counting the Days" by Goldfinger would be good.

Anything by AC/DC, Metallica, Ozzy, umm....lots more for sure. There's so many time I'll listen to the radio and think "Hey, this would kick ass in GH/RB" and the proceed to air guitar driving down the road.
Miserlou is in GH2, its in the last teir of difficulty.

"Start Me Up", "Satisfaction", "Jumpin' Jack Flash" -- The Rolling Stones
"99 Red Balloons" -- Nena
"Rock This Town" -- Brian Setzer Orchestra
"Bohemian Rhapsody", "Somebody to Love", "We Are the Champions" -- Queen (probably need a keyboard element with it)
"Turn Turn Turn" -- The Byrds
I can't think of many more rock songs I'd want on there.
