All I can remember is that episode of Gunther's Computer Corner on 22 Minutes when he teaches us that 'lol' is viable punctuation, such as:

I heard you are sick lol (dismissive)
I hope you get better soon Lol (reassuring)
I heard that your mother died LOL (to cheer them up)
Invite me to the funeral LOLOL
Amidst the mists and fiercest frosts,
With barest wrists and stoutest boasts,
I thrust my fists against the posts,
And still insist I see the ghosts.
