I freeze all my buns. My buns are icy cold. Otherwise, I'd have to go without bread for weeks and weeks.

I toast my frozen buns to warm them up.

So, really, I've had bread that is months old. Tastes fine to me. Nothing lives in the arctic cold of my freezer.

Well.... technically yes stuff does. Just its too cold for the stuff to do anything because its frozen. However if you left it out for a bit then it would get moldy pretty fast I bet.

yeah, im not going to want to get into this competition, but all i shall say is this. My fridge is a biology project of random things.

The worst being 2.5 week old pizza, and after a run through the microwave, it tasted just fine.

Many kinds of bacteria actually do die in the cold of a freezer - the water in their cytoplasm forms ice crystals, which burst their fragile cell walls. Molds do tend to form spores which can survive the cold of a freezer and become active again once conditions are more favourable, you certainly are correct on that part.

Bacteria that do live in ice are called psychrophiles, and they often produce a natural antifreeze. It's all fascinating, really.

Pizza is just like meat though, after its cooked the longer you hang it the better the taste after reheating.

I remember once during a very hot summer leaving a bunch of sandwhiches by a window and going away for an hour coming back and found them toasted. They tasted fantastic but I had a hard time on the toilet that night.

Fortunately though it was out in the sticks.... beside a siledge pit... were cow poop is. So you know, there wasn't much smell that wasn't there already.

yeah, kinda like burgers.
if it sits in like a plastic container for two days and you toss it in the microwave, definitely good. although pizza does seem to be INVINCIBLE to bad taste over short times.

I'd pay you never to make a thread like this again.
