Short Circut Remake.

Postby Vaughn » 07 May 2008, 09:17

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0929281/

My initial thought was along the lines of "LEAVE JOHNNY5 ALONE!. LEAVEMALONE!" But then i realized its being written by the guys that did so origionally. Tremors too.

I still dont think it needs to be remade, but at least they might not wreck it. =D

Whats wrong with the first one apart from being a bit dated looking now?

I'll see it if they bring back Fisher Stevens. I suppose it's too much to ask for Guttenberg.

Also the writer on Wild Wild West...

I just hope they make Johnny 5 a practical prop, and not a computer animated thing.

Oh, you nailed it. That's exactly what they are going to do. :|

Gah.

Also, there will be a giant, mechanical spider involved.

That's exactly what I thought of when I saw Wall-E. BTW that looks to be a hilarious movie.

I'd love a Short Circuit remake. One of the animatrons (with the full R/C harness and gear) was auctioned on eBay not long ago - that would be something sweet to answer the door with for Halloween.

Hello, bozos!

Edit: Here's the Giz Link since the eBay one's long since gone. That R/C rig to control the animatron looks pretty skippy.
