I'm grumpy today.
How do you become ungrumpy? I don't know how.

Whenever life kicks me in the balls, gives me a papercut, and pours lemon juice on it, I tend to give myself a bit of perspective.
This can of course be achieved mentally. You think about things on a grander scale than yourself, all that. However, it helps a whole lot more, and is far more inspiring and humbling too, if you can do this while staring out over something huge and natural like the ocean, or a massive forest, or mountains.
Pretty much when you're confronted with the sheer vastness of something like the ocean, how the vast majority of the entire planet is oceanic, how the ocean has existed for millions and millions of years, and how life continues to change and grow and thrive within it, you kind of realize your own life ain't all that much to get in a twist over. It's a relief in ways.

I find this video makes me feel better when I'm feeling down. I don't know if it works for grumpiness but all you can do is try.

I tip my hat to you, good sir! I dunno about Cake, but such hilarity would be more than sufficient to cheer me up from all but the worst sort of funks.
So if we analyze this psychologically, does my desire to be thrown into the ocean, combined with my seeing the ocean as something above the level of human comprehension, mean I am secretly seeking enlightenment?
Well shit, now I'm gonna have to strap my golden desk Buddha onto my helmet for good luck when I do get trebucheted. Ohm Mani Padme Hum! Ohm Mani Padme Hum!
*ch-gunk!*
It's all so clear now! Satori! I am one with the universe! It's full of stars!
