HELLLLLS YES I CAN.

Seen him in concert twice. He is an incredible performer. Especially when teamed with Vince DiCola and copius amounts of lasers.

Sat across from him at the pre-registrant dinner at Botcon '97.

Posess four of his albums, two of which are personally autographed.

He is, ultimately, my all-time favorite musician, and easily the world's most under appreciated, AFAIC.

I usually go for the Beatles, Rolling Stones, DJ Cuddlebunnies and 64K

Also, anyone looking for an incredible piano-based singer/songwriter should give Vienna Teng a listen. Love her stuff.

I also listen to a lot of international stuff... Japanese and Brazilian mostly. Hey, you can't go wrong with a bank called "Skank"!

That isn't the best performance in history.

Go hear Mahler's First Symphony performed in a real concert hall by a real orchestra with the full, required orchestra of over 100 musicians. Maybe that would be the best performance ever.

The fourth movement is like being punched in the face. Repeatedly.

Kinda surprised that in 4 pages no one has even mentioned any hiphop. Thats what I listen to mostly.
Anything by Mos Def
Most stuff by Lupe Fiasco
Most stuff by Talib Kweli
And more recently The Chemical Brothers techno/beats stuff. But thats not hip hop.

Sorry for the necropost, but I found something me and Lavos can agree on.

Knights of Cydonia is an epic song.

That said, I was somewhat disappointed with HAARP... too many crappy new songs (read: Supermassive Black Hole) and not enough of their old stuff that they actually played at the concert but didn't include on the CD/DVD (the likes of City of Delusion, Bliss, Sing for Absolution).

Also, the worst performance I've seen them do of New Born. Every other one is better. No tempo screwing, no occasional mistakes, no screeching whammy sounds.

Except the solo. The solo on this performance is brilliant.

Well right now I'm on a big Imogen Heap binge.

As well lately I've been listening to lots of Katy Perry, Joss Stone, Hole, Courtney Love, The Veronicas, City and Colour, Anthony Green, Estelle, The Holly Springs Disaster, Lady Gaga, November Blessing, Placebo, Cobra Starship, The Rocket Summer, Nine Inch Nails, Norma Jean, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, Straight Reads the Line, Enter Shikari, Hypercrush, and 30 Seconds to Mars.

Bolded = the ones I am listening to the most these days.

It changes really drastically, one day I will listen to really calm music like Imogen Heap and the next all I'll wanna listen to is some metal-core like Inhale Exhale.

Dang, I'm cool.

I'll listen to literally anything, but I'm only up for certain country singers (Mainly Johnny Cash), and it's taken me a bit to like Death Metal and all that screaming stuff, but I don't like most of it.

My main philosophy, though, is "Anything on the radio now is crap."

I'd love for someone to prove me otherwise.

I would have to say my favourite band is definately 64k. They hit on all of the hard-hitting issues that concern me as a Gaming Canadian. They are the only ones to help console me when my best friend (uncontrolled sobbing), became enticed, and ultimately, lost to the world of orc's and mage's.

Depends really for me, I would have to say Iron Maiden but I donot like all of their songs (prefer songs done by Bruce Dickinson) similar with albums by Origa (Ghost in the Shell SAC, I like some songs from her albums but few). In the end I just pick up random tracks from classical, russian, chinese, anime and films.
