You're right, he is probably counting on people wanting to see it because of the banning, but I didn't think "America" was in the practice of banning movies. they show some pretty crappy stuff all over the country and to ban this is a little strange to me. I mean, didn't anyone see it before it was booked in theaters. to pull it so close to release date is strange.

America let a movie as stupid as Bug come out.

Clearly we don't ban movies based on content.

The worst movie ever.

It's about people that think they're covered in bugs.

They are not covered in bugs. People in the movie point out that they aren't covered in bugs. The people who think they're covered in bugs say that everyone else "is in on it."

Seriously. Boll makes better movies than that.

We all know Uwe Boll has made some crap movies BUT if you go into things with an open mind and don't label them "suck" before you have a chance to judge them then you may actualy dig what you're watch... hmmm... sounds like something that's gone on recently here at ScrewAttack.

Regardless, I still say that if you're not offended easily then you'd probably like what you see. I make no guarantees though[/quote]Done.

I'm glad this is happening, after his short rant found here http://youtube.com/watch?v=WWqCNmfJ1hY he came off arrogant, and egotistical, I go to a movie to be entertained, not to "wake up" and definitely not to see some guy butcher video games on the big screen...

Cunning guy, isn't he?

'Get his film boycotted' (probably by small [s]bribes[/s] fees paid to the cinema-owning conglomerates - they get less money, but for not showing his film and therefore keeping their screens clear to show OTHER films to make even MORE money) to drum up interest in it (I can't even count how many times I'd forgotten he was in the process of butchering Postal...er, I mean 'filming a tribute' )

Wraith; what odds are being made on this 'boycott' being reversed after a few weeks or so? :)

THAT GUY is mutha'fuckin' Scatman John.

Show some respect! Get down on your knees and beg forgiveness! If he chose to get his freak on in your presence, even through the medium of pornography, you should be humbled, awed, and consider yourself blessed!

If the brilliance of a thousands suns were to burst into the sky at once, that would be like the splendor of The Mighty One! Klatuu Verata Nikto! I am the walrus! I am the walrus! Paul is dead! Koo-koo-kachoo!

Let me put it this way. Nothing is sacred.

Women, Children, baby killing, religion, race, September 11.

Nothing

Now there is deffinantly a right and a wrong way to make light and maybe even poke fun at touchy issues, But to degrade them entirely.... that is what Postal does in full force.

See, now I want to see it just for how horrible it is. However, there is no way in LRR that I'm going to pay for it, or for anybody to prove that I've seen it.

baby killing...... September 11.

And you thought these things should be 'sacred' before, neh?
We need to talk.

Also, from the way you've described it, Postal is the best movie of all time.

I think this is going to be the best game to movie adaptation of boll's career. The game is about a guy that goes crazy and kills and maims with no regard for anyone else.
This movies seems to have that perfectly!

You minunderstand the meaning. Nothing being sacred means that anything can be depicted as being done to anything. If the movie held babies as sacred, the killing of babies would not be included as it would be too far over the line. If the film held the lives of terrorist victims as sacred, the mockery of such victims would not occur. Etc.
