So, Canadians, I keep hearing about feet...

Postby Woland » 25 May 2008, 14:43

Specifically, I am talking about the feet that keep washing up on shore in BC. The story is here.

I'm all for the tsunami idea, but as I live in Ohio I'm getting all of this somewhat second-hand.

Any BC-ites heard about this/have any theories?

Recently? Has this been going on for a long time? I know that the article mentions other instances of feet showing up on Canadian shores, but if it's in here I must have missed it.

My hypothesis: It's a combination of Jaws and the place where your left sock disappears to in the dryer.

Watch it be like sock dentata or something.

Socks with teeth in them, biting off people's feet.

Oh no!

Yeah, I think that's the fourth one in a couple months.
Always a right foot, always in a shoe.

Not going to lie, it's fucking creepy and suspicious as hell.

A better question is: where are all the people missing right feet?

Hmmm?

Answer: there aren't any. They're fragments of the Dimension of Feet that fall into the Pacific whenever someone summons one of the Elder Gods.

BC can't be beat, 'cause its beaches have right feet! Go BC! Go BC!

Oh God, this is the best news story I've heard in months. It's like... begging for so many puns, my mind can't hold them all at once.

Living in BC must be wonderful... the beaches are only four feet away.
Whoever lost those feet must be horrible dancers, now.
Detectives can't figure this one out... they've all been defeeted.

Hmm...it certainly reeks of organised crime, is there any kind of immigrant trade into Canada?

It's not unknown for terrorists, psychopaths, and rebels to remove limbs, usually for interrogation or terror purposes, but Canada's pretty off-the-grid for that kind of stuff as far as I know.

There was speculation about some drug-related crimes or even sailors being killed/mutilated and then thrownoverboard, but last I heard the RCMP said there was no evidence that they were forcibly removed and that body parts have a way of, erm, snapping off once in the ocean for a while.

But you have to wonder, if that's the case...why haven't we heard reports about hands or arms washing ashore? Or, at least the remnants remaining after the fish have feasted.

Just grateful here that none have shown up in PoCo. I'm still getting emails from friends in the States about the pig farm.

Maybe the Canadian Mafia are sort of beginners at the whole whacking people thing, so they put the body in a big bucket upside down and filled it with cement, leaving only the feet sticking out.

You should always get started on the right foot.

Maybe it's a serial killer with two left feet, getting his revenge on all those who mocked him in dance class.
