"Lamesauce" and "weaksauce"...

Postby King Kool » 02 Jun 2008, 04:35

A coworker told me yesterday that "lamesauce" predates "weaksauce." I'd never heard lamesauce till that moment, and I disputed this. Despite my many Tubes, I could not find evidence of this.

A friend on Facebook took credit for introducing it to my school's theatre community, so I asked her if she knew if weaksauce predated lamesauce. She'd never heard of weaksauce, either.

Did I fall through to Narnia or something? What is the deal? Can anyone else here shed some light on this?

Urbandictionary wasn't much help, either.

same. and also, lamesauce is weaksauce. I think i hear leetsauce first actually then it would make sense for weaksauce to come after that because weak sound more like leet than lame does.

Seriously, lamesauce IS weaksauce. I don't think I've ever heard somebody weaksauce enough to say lamesauce. I've been saying 'weaksauce' and 'hotsauce' FOREVRAR. Also just plain 'sauce'.

Now that I think about it, there are a FEW things I say that involve food...

Mmmm...

Nope, I didn't. I was just wondering whether you had. I didn't mean to be confrontational.

Yet another case of "Internet-based Misunderstanding." T_T

"Lamesauce" is just a typo for "malesauce" that ended up becoming common lingo.

What I want to know is where Burnsauce fits into all this?

It doesn't. Burnsauce is lamesauce. And lamesauce is weaksauce.

So, there you go.
