Just take a point called Z in a complex plane, let Z1 be Z^2 + C.
And Z2 is Z1^2 + C.
And Z3 is Z2^2 + C!
(because I JUST listened to that song.)
If the series of Z's should always stay
Close to Z and never trend away
That point is in the Mandelbrot Set
JoCo is awesome
Also, this is the one I just set:
And before that, I had this one for months, I think I might get back to it... I just love that image

I'm a province away from my computer, and my laptop just uses the default background, so I have no pictures.
On my two monitors at home though, one features a couple xkcd frames (specifically, one of the classhole, and the tree with a chainsaw) inverted so it's white-on-black. Actually looks pretty sweet. The other monitor uses a promo wallpaper for Fallout 3.
EDIT: A quick search turned up that I posted the xkcd one on the xkcd forum. Go figure.
EDIT2: and here's the Fallout one:
I'm thinking that I may have to steal my brother's monitor so I can use the wallpaper Scone posted above me though.

my wall paper is pretty awesome... its from when we hiked to the top of a mountain on an island called Culebra, in Puerto Rico and watched the sunset... it was pretty fucking amazing
also, right after the picture was taken the wind blew and knocked it over and it fell right on the lense.. so we like to call this pic the "$400 photo" and i think it was pretty much worth it...

Mine's actually pretty similar to Cake's. I've prepared a couple of sizes for your perusal. I should warn you, though, I'm not much of an artist.
