Seriously. If this is indicative of what the finished product will be like, I will be a very sad panda.

Yeah, that makes no sense at all. Here's hoping the final product is nothing like that promo.

Hey guys! Hey! Hey guys!
Remember that one parody movie? Spaceballs? Wasn't that hilarious back in the day? Hah! Yeah, good times. Anywho! It's back, but it's like... a ridiculous cartoon! Zany, huh? And guess what!
Tits!
Tits!
Dick-shaped spaceship flying into suggestive circular space platform!
More tits!
Super Mario reference through giant titted Princess Peach! Hilarious!
Did I mention Tits?
Also boobs.
Oh hey, and the best part?
Knockers. LOL!

Well, he didn't write it directly, but he did direct the writing, and apparently he still voices Yogurt and President Skroob. So that's cool.
Actually, reading the wikipedia page on it, I'm a little more optimistic about this. I'm hoping that the promo was just made for G4's target demographic. That being 13 year old boys.

Oh. Internet flash animated series.
Don't get me excited like that guys.
Edit:
Looks like it's available on YouTube. See the first part of the first episode here.

Wha?? I hadn't seen that.
Of course, flash animation doesn't necessarily equal crappy -- look at Homestar Runner -- but it does mean lower production costs that unfortunately often leads to poor quality. I'm not thrilled with the new Spaceball series, but I'll see if I can tolerate an episode or two before making a final judgment.

Well this sucks. Seems like all the old 'brilliant writers' are slowly getting their names killed.
Lucas produced Clone Wars the movie.
Spielberg redid War of the Worlds.
Mel Brooks is now having Spaceballs broken down into shambles.
Hrmph. It's all ways good when LRR is better than shows with budgets. A lot better.
