I never come up with any kind of decent costume. I usually forget it until about a week before, and half-ass something together.

Aztec Cowboy Mafia, if you can find a gas mask and some ridiculously tight latex garments I'll go as Psycho Mantis, even though I'm not skinny enough.

Man, you and I should hit up a military surplus store (EDIT: ...is there one in Victoria?). For the jumpsuit, though, I'm at a loss.

I'm going to make a Rorschach costume. It will be bad ass. Hardly anyone will know who I am, until the movie comes out next year though. Still. Bad. Ass.

I fucking love Watchmen, and Rorschach has been one of the most fascinating characters for me.

That said, this is the best Rorschach costume I have EVER SEEN:

Damn. That's spot on. Mine won't be that good. How ever, I did find a steal on the 2nd hand store. I got a trench coat for 7 bucks.

I want to go as Dr. Horrible, but the only place that has the exact style of lab coat is the UK. If someone from the UK can get me one for cheap and ship it to me, we can work something out. Email me soon please!

Get a white one and paint it red? White lab coats are pretty easy to acquire.

No I plan on wearing the white one, but it's the style of lab coat (side button "Howie").

Maybe you could get a regular one, buttons on the front, and append some extra cloth to wrap part-way around your side and then put buttons on the side.

if you are in high school and plan to go trick or treating you are a fucking loser.

just sayin, and there were a lot of losers at my high school. heres a classic moment:

loser (15 years old i think, seriously he was): "i figured out the best way to get tons of candy"
me (17ish?): "go to the store and buy it?"

I've never been a fan of hallowe'en it's not scary. If I did it would take me time to make the weapon and get the other pieces needed and scuff them correctly.

There used to be a military surplus store in Victoria.
Then it burned down and the guy moved to Calgary.

Aw, bummer. Google tells me there's still one, but it wouldn't be the first time the internet has lied to me.

Also, Corax: chill out man. Were you abused by a trick-or-treating teenager as a child, or something?

The trick for obtaining candy is to let my step siblings go trick or treat for themselves and then when they get tired of it, or forget it exists (which is within a week of acquiring said candy) the rest becomes mine.
