You know... we joked about this in the most recent podcast, but spartanhelmet just proved our point.

Q: Who can do a thing? Answer this thread if you can do a thing.
A: I would, but I live in Australia.

Ah well... glad to know you'd like to in theory.

Sorry to single you out, I just find it funny because we were just joking about it, and AUS specificially.

Sorry...much as I'd love to get out there, there's no way I could get the time off work, among other issues. Like buying gas. x_x

Consider this signature a museum piece, since I love it and am unlikely to change it ever.

Wrong coast, sorry dudes. I'm thinking of applying to UVic though, so I'd be able to go to future screenings.

For anyone looking to insult the local furry, I'll be playing Goldeneye on my laptop pre-event.

Good times.

No problemo... apart from me living in Aus, so yeah.

It has a distinct level of suck since nothing happens here in the scheme of things, so you need to travel... and Aus (especially Perth) is especially far from the 'real world', and therefore expensive.

It costs as much as a new hatchback to go business class return Brisbane <-> L.A. :| !!

Except in this instance the 'thing' is something at least a few people are making a trek for, and the poll itself asks who can and can't.
