Thanks Again Alex

Postby Elomin Sha » 25 Oct 2008, 17:05

Very enjoyable evening there. Alex apologises for those who got kicked out, he doesn't know why UStream does it but he's goign to sort it out for next week and possibly a new time because of international viewers. I'll start on the Wiki right away.

Given that it started at 1 AM, cranking it back to say, 5-6 PM EDT would be fine.

Yeeah, earlier times ftw.
But otherwise, awesome way to spend an hour, thanks.
Also, is this going to be a weekly thing now? 'Cos that'd be sweet.

Yes, thank you for doing this again, Alex.

Too bad I just remembered it now. Aargh. :(

I'm glad I got to catch the tail end and slip one question in there. (I came back from seeing Eagle Eye in the theater and didn't realise for 15 minutes that AAAL had already begun)

Thanks anyway Alex. I'm sure it was all as awesome as the last 10 minutes.

Sorry I think we got carried away with some of our demanding questions answered. I'll ask Alex if it would be better to take questions like an interview. Where he picks out a person from the list and they get to ask their question.

I'm going to bed soon, so I'll do as much of the Wiki as possible then get back to it as soon as my shift at the stadium finishes tomorrow.

I'm left with the very same feeling. There were a few awesome questions, but they were drowned out by "fyblabelfih!!!??" or just the same ones over and over.

Still, kudos Alex. You put O'Reilly's "FK it, we'll do it LIVE!" to shame by both doing it live and not being O'Reilly.

Yes AAAL rocked.
I wonder though how well it would work if Alex picked questions off of the forums. Theres a few interesting ones in the Ask an Alex thread
I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that

Alex, that was awesome.

Of course my internet was slow as shit because i'm at college, and 1500 other people were probably online, and it lagged like an SOB.

but oddly it worked for the funny for the fun parts.

It was quite a grand old time and the TF2 afterward gave me quite the opportunity to "creep Alex out" quite a few times. At least that was one of my goals.
