It's Christmas now...In England, so happy festive day/christmas and any other choice of celebration everyone has.

We're having a present early, I have slippers and there is a funny argument going on between my mother and step-father over presents...there's liqour involved already.

Actually, I'm living in Wales so I think we have a full house there.

My injury list so far:

My ankle gave way on me before I went to bed last night so I couldn't sleep too well;
I'm mentally stressed (so it's Christmas alone for me next year);
Finger sliced open by cardboard.
I was opening the excessive package on one of my sister's presents, the multi-tool slipped and I stabbed myself in the stomach.

Expect the injury list to increase.

Injury update:

Helping clear the table, wondering why my face was getting hot as I leant to pick up the sauces. I was burning my eye with the table top candle. By this rate I'll be dead before Doctor Who comes on.

Injury list:

Christmas Eve Morning:

5:30 AM:
Slipped and fell on the ice at the gas pumps at work, screwing up my back and causing discomfort in my right knee.

6:45 AM:
Slipped, twisting my right knee, and fell walking up to the doors of Best Buy to pick up my mother's gift. Was barely able to stand back up. Didn't check my watch before heading back to the car, so I didn't realize I only needed to wait 15 minutes.

6:46 AM:
Slid on the ice and fell AGAIN on the way BACK to the car, despite being sure to not walk over the same icy patch.

6:58AM:
Slid on the ice, twisting my right knee again.

I'm now walking around with my grandfather's old cane, because I can't put ANY weight on the right leg without pain.

On the bright side, it makes me look like Dr. House, so I've been impersonating him.

As for Dmitri, I can't be mad at him, seeing as I have also gimpified my knee before (left knee cap dislocation, patellar ridge fracture, and torn tendon), so I KNOW that hurts like a magi's fruitcake.

Now that I'm able to bend it again slightly, it turns out that it's not my knee, but about four inches of shin immediately below my knee. My dad's saying it's probably a bone-bruise, but possibly a stress fracture. Though apparently it's uncommon to get either of those by falling down.

Trust me, most painfull injuries occur from uncommon causes. I broke my arms because I ran into someone once :wink:

Also, merry Christmas to all (Even though I'm WAY late, it's already Day 2 here. SO FAR we've been able to keep the Christmas tree locked in the closet and the keep the zombie snowmen outside, but they seem to be planning an all out offensive soon.

Sleep Deprevation, I'd been working long shifts at work for many days before and not having much sleep so I was barely registering anything, including my accidental self stabbing.
