VISFF 2009

Postby johnny » 19 Jan 2009, 23:10

The 4th annual Vancouver Island Short Film Festival is this weekend!
The VISFF will showcase the best short films produced on Vancouver Island January 23rd and 24th at the Malaspina Theatre, Nanaimo VIU Campus. The show, starting at 7 PM each night, features short films of 10 minutes or less in a multitude of genres and styles.

This year LRR video "Right to the Source" will be shown with 17 other fantastic short videos.

I hope to see lots of LLR fans at the show.
Tickets are $15 at the door (cash only), the doors open at 6, the show starts at 7.

For more information go to http://www.visff.com

Only one video this year from LoadingReadyRun?

While it would be interesting to go I have no way of getting to Nanaimo.

Good to hear!

Hope the festival goes really well. There's some possibility I might show up for part of it; depends how things work out.

Right to the Source wins Best Writing at the VISFF 2009!!!

That makes four years in a row we've won best writing (and there's a different judging panel each year too!)
I'm really pleased, because there were some stellar videos this year. But dialogue matters you see!

Thanks to the VISFF, it was a blast!

If you win the Best Writing award again, do you get to keep it? Or is that just the Champion's League?

Great job guys. It was wonderful to see most of you up for the show and the party.
Also "Right to the Source" was nominated for best film and had the 3rd most votes for people's choice.

At a total of 7, cast by the crew. :p. Seriously though, we could never have taken peoples choice against toy-tal recall.

What had the second highest votes?
