First Videos. Where are they?

Postby Shaun832 » 06 Feb 2009, 18:46

Okay, I'm new here and I've noticed that some early videos that was made by LRR aren't there. Can anyone tell me what happened to them? I'm mainly looking for the '42' video.

Those videos will eventually be found here.

Which is the "42" video you speak of?

42 was a parody we did of '24' way way way back in the day.

we don't currently leave our season 1 videos online. Originally, this was to promote sales of our season 1 dvd (when it was available), but now its cause they mostly arent very good :p

The first season videos aren't on the site due to space; copyrighted music; and something else. Graham says, however, that they will be put up with the shift from Revver to Blip.

If you get past the fact that yes season 1 videos were kinda bad... but compared to most internet video sketches at the time (which there was very few of) they were quite good. I never have had a point where I felt Season 1 dvd was stupid and I shouldn't watch ever EVER again.

I think I might watch all the LRR dvds tonight :D

The season one videos are not all bad. On the other hand the quality ranges much more than the later seasons. Some of the season one videos are good ideas but the production is not up to the modern LRR standards. However some of the videos (Girly Magazine Quizzes anyone?) are only for the true fans.

Anyone who has S1-3 or After Hours, I'll gladly pay cost & shipping if you're looking to sell them... (especially S1 + AH).

I have a first-run Season 1 DVD, but I'm not selling it.

We also don't have Season 1 stuff up anymore because some of it contains copyrighted music, and cannot be distributed on Revver or Blip. Changing this would take time better put towards new content.

All I'm looking for is a Season 3 DVD. If the crew has extras I'd pay more than cover price.

Those looking for season one could try and convince the few who have them to trade them for brand new season four DVDs . . . they'd be trading up, and you'd be getting the torture you so clearly desire.

If I had a season 1 DVD I wouldn't think of trading it. And, like the rest, I would really enjoy seeing season 1.

I think 'Vietnam' at least can be found on youtube, so anyone who hasn't seen it may want to check it out.
Is it safe?
