Official Project 365 & Photography
Re: Official Project 365 & Photography
So, I am going to develop the pictures that I have so far and get an album for them. It's about 5 months worth so I'm pretty excited.

Re: Official Project 365 & Photography
I finally got caught-up on posting for my P-365 set. It's now current through 2.19 . Although, I did have one Fail so far.
TheRocketSiobhan : Yes, the dexterity ball was pretty cool, until we broke the RPM counter in it. It was still fun to play with, but Brandon left us a couple weeks ago and took his ball with him... And, yes, there is some Irish in my background on my mother's side.

Re: Official Project 365 & Photography
I may be a little late in joining this, but this really appeals to me.
I got my digital camera fixed and now I've found the mass-convinience of Flickr so I see no reason to take part.
I used to carry my camera with me everywhere, just the hastle of uploading them somewhere to share, and especially them eating up harddrive space killed my enjoyment somewhat.
The only time I should miss out a day is when I forget. Thankfully I have a back up plan if I don't take a photo. I can go for a kebab, or photograph a piece of art I did/arrange some random objects neatly.
Currently uploading a back catalogue of stale pictures so I can start-anew. Unfortunatly some of my favorates got corrupted from the malfunction my camera suffered and probably just time itself so I cannot upload them

I keep meaning to start this. I just keep forgetting that my phone has a half decent camera on it so that I can take the pics.

*sobs*
I'm sorry guys. The last few months have been quite up and down what with me trying to spend lots of time with Wraith before I left the country, then I got wrapped up in work.
It really pisses me off because I feel like I failed, and I can't just back peddle to December.

I have a new camera! very exited. Means my Project 365 will be so much better! it's been a but rubbish of late because i broke my old camera so i've been relying on my camera phone, which is rubbish. Snazzy new camera now though!

Since Flickr only lets you show the last 200 pictures uploaded it is kinda a poor choice for this project.
I have since quit uploading mine and am printing all the pictures instead.

Re: Official Project 365 & Photography
I've fallen way behind on updating my P-365. With that, I've missed a few days. As of 5/31 (the farthest I've uploaded), the FAIL (phail?) count is at 7.
Even with the missed days, I'm still pretty into the project & I'm happy with how it's turning out. I'm considering having the set printed into a booklet at the end of the year. Kind of like a personal yearbook.
Question, though: How many days can you miss before the project is considered 'failed' or 'lost'?

It's not lost until you give up.
It's a personal project so there are very few set rules.

This looks like it will be fun! I have been wanting to take some more photos and this will be the perfect motivation! I'm starting right now. It's not the best picture since it's hard to find something to take a picture of at almost 4 in the morning but it’s growing on me.

Re: Official Project 365 & Photography
I have failed. Within 6 days I failed to take a picture every day. I suppose because I "had" to do it, it put me off wanting to do.
So instead, I'll just take pictures when I want and upload them to my profile. Is that allowed? I doubt it. Oh well.

We just can't think of any suitably epic response.
In the meantime though, Congratulations!

I think the lack of response is mainly that we are all ashamed of how pitiful we did, in contrast to your posting every day for a year.
