I think that any forum members who are drunk and online should visit IRC, because that's way more fun and way less permanent on the internet.

I've had a debilitating head ache for the last 13 or 14 hours, and aside from the physical pain in my head, it's now making me ill. Someone please take the pain away, I can't stand it any more.

*hands cake Excedrine Migraine*

*BIG bottle of water*

*points towards a hot shower in a dark bathroom (candles only if possible)*

See if you can get your neck to pop after loosening the muscles with hot water. If that doesnt work, take the excedrine, drink a full liter of water, then hide in a dark room for a long nap.

Whoa. [/neo]

I was crippled with a "something is chewing on the right side of my head" headache yesterday (13th), myself. Yeah, to the point of nausea. Though I think it's almost impossible that I gave it to you (Atlantic Coast vs. Rockies), apparently it was a bug - a co-worker noticed my visible misery at work, and mentioned HE had the same symptoms (also dizziness and sensitivity to light & sound, as if it were a migraine) back around monday-tuesday or so. That jerk did feel bad for 'giving it to me', tho.

The recommendations already given are excellent, and I hope they help!

(One thing, tho - if you find the heat doesn't help, try a cold compress - cool, damp facecloth folded and placed over the aching area suffices for me. If it's migraine-esque, it'd be dilated blood vessels on yer scalp and stretch the nerves, and cold can help contract same blood vessels. I figured I just had a migraine when I walked into the big cooler to get something and instantly felt better)

Huh, that advice was startlingly relevant and helpful for the situation. Frightening really.

Yeah, I get that with the ol' Old Spice + Irish Spring soap combo. Depends on the lady, I think.

How's the head, Cake? If it lasts any longer you might want to see a doctor.

One of our cats died in the night. She started looking really sick yesterday, and we were going to take her to the vet this morning, but she just didn't make it. Poor thing was only six months old. :(

Oh, and her name was Lucky.

Seriosuly, what's so hard about picking up after yourself? If you use a dish, put it in the dishwasher. If the dishwasher is full, spend literally 2 minutes emptying it. Then put your dishes in. If you make trash, throw it away. If the trash is full, spend 60 seconds taking the trash out. Then throw your trash away. This is not a difficult concept, but roommates can't get it through their thick skulls.
