Is this Graham? Nunchuck Jousting?

Postby waldo » 09 Mar 2009, 18:43

I found a video clip of what looks and sounds very much like Graham. I have been a fan of LRR for a couple of years now, and cannot recall seeing this on the site or under discussion. Is there a story here, or is that laughter just coincidentally akin to the soothing baritones of Mr. Petter?

It is one of the viral videos the crew made as part of the latest commodoreHustle
It has been discussed a length here
http://loadingreadyrun.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8369

And that is Matt's laugh.

The laughter is me, the skateboarder is Graham, the fact that you found it without noticing that it's one of the clips we're filming near the end of the most recent episode of HUSTLE is AWESOME.

Ah, alright. I haven't been able to get that video (new format?) to load for me yet, but I suppose I should have guessed that the mystery clip would be in the one video I have not seen yet. Glad to be awesome Matt, and sorry for mis-crediting your mirth.

Boys? You've made the Failblog:

Nunchuck Fail

Little do they know it's viral WIN <evil wringing of hands, smile and laughter>

(even though some goobs tried to spoil the fun! :( )

Oh, and the commenters over there seem to have a consensus that your laughing is the best part, Matt.....take that for whatever it's worth. :)

EDIT: quick question - how old is this clip/stunt? Someone made a comment of "this is a very old video on collegehumor"...but then, remembering the attention span of YouTube-esque commenters, that may mean "one month"...

Yes, it's about a month, as Matt said, it was shot pretty much on location for the HUSTLE video.

It's funny, this exact thing happened to me, despite being a LRR fan. I was browsing YouTube and found the video, and the first thing that escaped my lips was...

"Wait... that's Graham!"
The strong survive, lovers strive, and the thoughtful ones get out alive.

Look. All I'm saying is that she doesn't not look like a whore.

Can we revive sheer stupidity, and actually have nunchuk jousting?

Edit: ZOMG!1 The failblog version of your video on youtube is over 500,000 views. Awesomeness.

Are these goobs the people that removed the Morgan Kick of Doom? Because that seems to have happened on College Humour as well: funniest bit IMO

I think Sheer Stupidity still survives in videos like Fun with Microwaves.

As long as you put "In the name of Science" somewhere in the sentence it makes it all good.
If you watch the movie 'Jaws' backwards, its a movie about a shark that keeps throwing up people until they have to open a beach.

I put this question up in a LRRcast, Graham responded "Go to www.ustream.tv/loadingreadyrun" because they had just come off from Desert Bus I think that is where Sheer Stupidity survives now.

The kick usually casts more doubt on the authenticity of the video. There are also people who think that kicking someone in the balls after he's already hurt himself isn't funny.

Personally, I think they're crazy.

Yeah, what the hell? Have these people never watched Jackass? That's how those guys operate on a daily basis.
I think it takes to a third, transcendent level.

Comparing LRR to jackass... and the whole overall intelligence on this website went down about five notches.

My favorite part is Morgan kicking Graham afterward. Because sometimes I have a very cruel sense of humour.

I loved that part because I didn't expect it. I knew what the skateboard was going to lead up to, and the nunchucks were either going to go to the groin or head.
