Just a general question

Postby Niko88 » 24 Mar 2009, 21:50

Don't know why I am going to post this (it may have something to do with the now empty bottle of rum that adorns my kitchen) but I think it could lead to some interesting conversation:

Two trains leaves Chicago and New York on the same track at the same time heading towards each other. Who or what would you throw between them as they are about to collide?

As for me, I would throw some peanut butter and some chocolate. That would be the most delicious disaster ever covered by CNN.
Why do I love the blinking street lights so much?

Matt, and every Matt-clone. Maybe the impact would create a giant Matt?

I would throw a radio message warning both engineers that they will collide if they do not change their routes.

Another, smaller set of train engines on a collision course.

I'm not so keen on being thrown in front of a train, but thanks for the thought... I guess... :\

I would throw in several canisters filled with silly string and shaving cream. Messiest multicolor accident scene ever.

I'd throw in some hamsters. We need a Large Hamster Collider in some shape or form.

A giant, springy mattress.

Then I'd be a famous hero.

More dramatic than a radio message, so it means I'd get more press coverage. :)

I'd throw in a black hole, it would be interesting to watch two trains get turned into something that dense.

or maybe a Huge thing of Jell-o (like a mile long stream) and see if that would be enough to slow them down before they hit, if nothing else we would get something that resembles a Gelatinous Cube from D&D and the like.

I'd sap the trains to stop them. "Spy's sappin' my...train?"

Or, conversely, I'd put an empty car between them. Mythbusters anyone? :D

So we have Jell-o, mattresses, radio signals, black holes and Overlord of the universes: Mega-Matt.

And Matt, you aren't being thrown in front of a train. That would be silly. You are being thrown between two trains. Totally different

I would throw a giant spring between them and see if the trains compress the spring and bounce backwards.

A Sham-Wow. See how well it can soak up the trains.

What would happen if you threw in the entire LRR Crew? First of all what are they doing in Ohio? (I think that is where the horrific train crash would occur)

My guess is it would be the greatest LRR Video ever for no other reason than that much force combined with that much comedy must produce a seismic shock of laughter.

And then I found five dollars

...

Hilarity ensues.

I can't believe you didn't say the Flash! Seems like it would be right up his alley.
