I had a dream... and it brought me back

Postby theINC » 24 Apr 2009, 03:48

Maybe a week ago, I had a dream. I was somewhere in the city (it was almost like a food court but there were no tables or anything, just like kiosks on the sides and nothing else - like a warehouse or something). And, then, out of nowhere, Graham pops up and says hi to me - don't ask me how he recognizes me. Then I'm like HEY YOUR THE GUY FROM LRRR LOLOLOL
Then we went into this room and there were maybe like 10 or so other people who were LRR fans. I can remember James being there too, but no Paul, Matt, Kathleen, or Jer.
Then I woke up before anything awesome happened.

So, what have I missed? It must have been a sign from the Gods to return to LRR.
I must buy that season 4 DVD too...

Edit: Hmm, I see that I still have a pretty cool avatar.
But, I forget what Woland owes me points for.

I had a LRR dream as well, it's kinda vague at the moment but I remember it was along the lines of having lunch with some of my friends and Morgan. But that was when I first got here and watched most of the past videos to catch up and marathons like that influence my dreams.

Welcome back...Mr.Anderson, we missed you.

My most recent LRR dream was where I just followed Tim around trying to film a Loading Time about him. He seemed perplexed.

I remember you lyinginbedmon. I see that you are on a bit of a posting rampage.

I'm not sure if I remember you, cureless. You joined up just around when I gave up on LRR, since my internet got pathetic, and I had a trip to England.

But if I keep visiting LRR then I"ll get to know you.

Did you remember me, lyinginbedmon?

Does ANYONE remember me?!

It's hard to forget someone with a wildly-waving-arms avatar, yes I remember you :D

Yeah, I recently got Matt a bit peeved with the posting, blame Elomin Sha for netting over eighty posts in a day.

Hehe. I doubt I'll change it, I really do like Muse.

I like the quote buttons in the topic review. Quite convenient.

Well, I stopped watching/listening to LRR regularly about a year ago because I moved house and my internet got progressively slower (satellite internet = 1GB cap. Not good.) Left me unable to download podcasts and the like.
I have managed to slightly improve this speed with my hackery, and now that I go to the university every working day, I have the opportunity to watch/download LRR goodness when I'm there. I don't want to go through what I've missed though... it's gonna take a while.
I even missed the second Desert Bus for Hope. What a shame, loved the first one, what with Doctor Morgan and all those good things.

I remember you too, empath, is that Installation Anxiety in your av if I remember correctly?

Aye. STILL my fave vid.

Man, Desert Bus 2....wow. It was a little different; lost a little of the 'improv' nature of the first, but was cooler in a lot of ways, too. And the collection totals, yikes - if this keeps going, pretty soon Mike & Jerry will have to hold the Charity Ball in Victoria! ;)

LRR, and even some forumites, have appeared in my dreams before. Just the same as anyone else I know. The dreams may have absolutely nothing to do with LRR, but the plot requires someone more than a faceless mook, so my subconscious picks a person with the right image, personality, and my attitude towards them, and plops them in. It stopped being weird to me a long time ago, I even have conversations with Elomin Sha in my head to bounce ideas/other things off of. That's just the way my brain works, and I don't see much difference between you guys and the people I know in RL, so my subconscious doesn't make that distinction either.

Oh, and welcome back theINC, good to see you again.

The only LRR dream I had so far went as follows.

I walk into a U shaped room.
(The "Bottom of the U is about 20*10 meters and the arms are 5m wide)
the walls appear to be made of wood panelling and the room is bout as high as zeppelin hangar and mostly dark.

In the space at the bottom of the U there is a military map table about 3m*1.5m. The table is somehow illuminate from the ground below the table.

Around this table stand Graham, Paul and I think Matt.
They talk about about tactics (dream intuition) and I hear something about tanks and different heights of the terrain. I walk around the table in slow motion. when I get beack to the the side of the table that points to the bottom of the U shaped room, I look up towards the left arm of the U and see morgan standing there (there is orange light coming from the roof somewhere in the U arm beyond what I can see.)

I hear some creaking and swooshing nois and look up to where the arms meet the bottom of the U. I look up and see a (possibly grinning) Bill coming right at me riding a falling steel scaffolding. The scaffolding hits the table, I wake up.

All in all maybe 2 in-dream minutes.

I had an LRR Dream today, I posted it on my twitter, but here goes:
Well, the whole dream was weird, but the LRR part was I was hanging out with the LRR crew, and something happened, and my shirt was torn off somehow (really, I don't remember.. dream logic, it made sense at the time), and so they gave me a free LRR shirt, which then spawned a t-shirt ad: "Wanna get a free LRR t-shirt? Then be a chick and show up naked at a shoot...However, if you don't want to get arrested and pay a hefty fine, buy a damn shirt!" Then a caption: "LRR t-shirts, cheaper than jail!"

...Then me and my parents went to Picadilly Circus, which is apparently a flea market, and bought mugs.

I think cH 1 was the last LRR video I watched. I have the podcast on my Mac but haven't listened to it all, I keep giving up about halfway through.

Sorry about that. The thing was, I never decided "nah, I'm not gonna visit LRR any more". It was like, a combination of me moving house, and me going through some difficult times in my life.

But now, I'm quite well over them and I have the ability to watch LRR glory.

I remember you, good old aussie mate.
