Desert Bus is a great conversation piece and the best possible intro to LRR, in my opinion. I haven't seen Tensen's picture in specific but I was thinking some art relating to the concept would be perfect. The Serious Business poster would be classy also, though I'm less sure I'd buy such an item since it's more of a straight-up glamour shot.

The image of us all hanging out the bus windows isn't actually drawn by Tensen, but I will be talking to him about this.

So, most mentioned ideas so far:
- Serious Business or other group crew shot
- Bagel Free Kitchen
- Original Artwork
- All Things Desert Bus

Oh really? I could have sworn.. heh, well, I was new at the time. I joined the site with Desert Bus 1, so my mistake.

I'd be interested in seeing a poster or print of the logo, as seen in the openings to videos, it'd be a more subtle way of LRR love.

Talk like a Pirate poster, much like the T-Shirt

OOOOHHH!! An LRR timeline, showing all the title page pictures from the videos. Like Magazines do for their 5th and 10th anniversary? That'd be cool.

Yeah, I think the LRR prop replicas would be neat to have. Like:

Bagel Free Kitchen
Missing Jer Poster
DJ Cuddlebunnies flier

Even if you don't do posters there could be a downloads section on the site or wiki.

Evil Jim's gave me a great idea with that. A poster of 64K, done in the style of a real rap/hip-hop poster would be AWESOME.

I think stuff like this that you could print out at home, would probably not make sense to sell. A poster should be a little flashier than these are in their current form. The Cuddlebunnies flier could be fleshed out into something a lot more substantial, though, if desired.

@notomtolose Yeah, that was my point. If they don't go all out with a store poster some of us would still like to have those prop replicas.

Hah. I'm tempted to draw/paint this myself for the heck of it, just because it looks so amusing in my head.

As to the original question; I would almost certainly buy prints/posters, depending on which designs end up being realised.

In addition to prints/posters might I suggest the possibility LRRun/LRRunners logo stickers? I'm pretty sure a lot of printing places do stickers, don't they? There might be other options also, such as iron-on transfers. I'm not sure; I've never looked into on-demand printing.

I know that no one from the LRR Crew designed it but I would love a poster of that amazing drawing from the first annual Desert Bus. It has the whole crew inside the Bus and Matt's holding up a "Help" sign.

I am 100% in support of LoadingReadyRun posters, I'd be more likely to buy them than a t-shirt probably...

Also,

I'd go for posters. Alja, what were you thinking? You put Paul's head too small.
A Rapidfire Poster of all the characters could be nice (The leaflet campaigns could be having a little scrap or holding out tickets to you). There we go a poster of them asking you to support whoever Morgan was.

When watching "Ways to Survive the Recession" I noticed on the kitchen whiteboard an extended version of "the flowchart". That would make a good poster, methinks.

Other than that, general crew shots would be great -- normal, silly, 'Runners and cartoon versions would work quite well.

I have an image in mind alrady, but it'll take a while to draw. I just hope this thread doesn't get forgotten about before then... of at least, the excitement doesn't die down, anyway.

I would love LRR posters, especially since they'd be easier to afford for a poor university student. Would definitely buy those. Also buttons would be fun. :D

I agree that I'd like to see the LRR or Runners logos. What might also be fun is Paul from cH, in the lab coat explaining pwn? Or something to do with the ball-kicking robot, maybe...
I'm also amused by Vaughn's "Walls: Serious Business" idea.

I think people have a point about some things being available as downloads, maybe some of the simpler ones? If they're ones that work best at the size of a regular sheet of paper it might make more sense to do it that way. But I'd get a Bagel-Free Kitchen poster either way.

I would totally buy a poster thinking; "this is cheap I can afford this" and then find myself adding a shirt or two onto my order to make the "postage worth it".

Posters are a good move. :P

I'm on the other side of atlantic, so buying paper or paper-like merchandise is a bit of a stretch for me, expense wise.

Answer the First: Yes, sounds good.

Answer the Second: I like a lot of the previously mentioned ideas especially LRR logos, Serious Business, and Missing Jer Flyer. I also wouldn't mind character posters, like:
- Canadaman
- Story Guy
- Shhh Guy
- Jacques Francois
- Mr. Tiddlywinks
- Head of Evil Inc.
- 64K
- etc. (I think you get my drift)

I'm not sure whether it would be worth it, given the production and shipping costs and all, but Bagel Free Kitchen would make a fantastic refrigerator magnet.

I'm liking most of these ideas; even though I'm 'too old' to be hanging posters on the walls, a few months back, the landlord took down the half dozen pictures and whatnot that WERE up, and now the walls look kinda bare; it'd be nice to have a Desert Bus image, and maybe just the classic LRR logo.

Jillers' suggestion of buttons gets a second from me; gotta have more stuff to pin to my Tilley Hat :D

Variation off the 'DJ Cuddlebunnies' flyer: DJ Cuddlebunnies CONCERT POSTER. (Wife just added "A DJ Cuddlebunny?" I imagine plushies would be a whole different kettle of fish, but something to think of further down the road)

Okay, this is really off the wall idea, but something I feel needs mentioning:

Remember those 'toys' that were a placard with a man's face, and covered in plastic and had iron filings...and you used a magnet 'pen' to pull the filings into hair/beard/etc?

Image What am I doing?!? I Live In The Future - just a minute...

*One quick Google later*

HERE: Wooly Willy

Image

But, the LRR version would have a pic of Paul's face... :D

ADDENDUM: I still have a smallish-res copy of that 'Desert Bus Group Painting' others have mentioned - anyone know who 'Fin' is or is the pen-name of? I really need to thank him/her, and get permission for reproduction...

For those of us in Europe, paying $20 or so (after shipping costs) for an 8x10-inch poster seems a little extreme, given that we could buy a giant poster in the high street for maybe a third of that. I wonder if there'd be any merit to offering digital posters -- high quality JPEG files that we can download and print ourselves. These could be offered in addition to the physical posters, at somewhere up to, say, $3 each.

After all, most people have the capability of printing 8x10 themsleves, and own or know someone who owns a photo-quality printer, and it would be considerably cheaper for people overseas. And nothing to produce.
