I do! It's so shiny! I'm very pleased! The Runners welcome all, be they Browncoats, Trekkies, gamers, geeks, gamer geeks, ninja, pirates, Aussies, Brits, everyone! We may not be the most geographically-centered gang in the world, but man do we have serious reach. It's crazy to think I could go to the UK or Australia and find someone I've corresponded with on these boards. Go Runners!

So the rest of us will end up as "Soldiers"... the ones that join the runners at least.

Please forgive my lrrignorance, but what are the runners all about exactly? How does one become a runner and what will they do? I was away back when the video came out, so all I know is that they made a gang in cH. I seem to have missed all the discussion beyond that.

Details like that haven't been released yet. The next day or two should be fairly informative for you.

Ok... that forum's pissing me off... </jk>

It's a quirk: whenever I go to the main forum page, it tells me that there are new posts in the runners thread. Grrr...

Just two, and one of them is Tim. Probably just administrative stuff.

That being said, I can't get any work done cause I'm refreshing the main page every couple minutes (and lurking about in the forums).

You clearly weren't refreshing the page earlier today, because if you had you would know that both are posts by Tim.

I was not very productive today partially because I was spending so much time looking to see if LoadingReadyRunners or commodoreHUSTLE were up.

I assumed it was, since he is the only listed mod for that forum, which likely means he is the only one with permissions for it.

But you're right, I've only been sitting there for about the last hour or two. =p

From what I gather the requirements are pretty much:

1) enjoy LRR (and LRR related activities)
2) be awesome

I believe I was among the first to wear Runners garb IRL, before the podcast challenge was even announced. I can has a rank of some sort? Or do I have to do more to earn it?

Hm. Shoot. I realize only now, much too late, that I would have a rather nice Runners outfit if I had tried to put one together. I have many appropriate pieces, a bandanna, a top hat... hm. Foo.

It's not too late to make an awesome runners outfit pic. You're just too late to get into the contest.

And as for the 'big unveiling', I'm interested, but maybe I've come to learn patience over the years; my F5 key is safe for now.
