It's true, people who are mentally challenged are a source of amusement.

I'm not making fun of him, I'm laughing at the randomness of the statement. You must be the kind of guy who watched Patch Adams and got mad at Robin Williams for trying to find the lighter side of life. It's okay, don't feel bad. I got mad at him after I watched Death to Smoochy.

I thought this was about me, I was seriously offended until I read back to the other page.

I'm new to forums in general, but the first thing I learned is that everyone gets made fun of. Give it time, we'll get to you eventually.

I wonder if we should have a Facebook event that we can invite people to. It would make it easier to share photos after.

I will be there if I have to kidnap someone off the street to fill my shift. Which I probably won't. But I would do so in a heartbeat.

I'm glad you mentioned that traveling back right after is feasible, because I may end up doing so. Looking forward to trolling you all IRL! I mean, meeting you. Yes.

Can we go to the Rio in advance to pick up tickets, or is it strictly at the door? I've got a problem with online purchases.

The Rio isn't selling the tickets, we've rented the space. So they'll only be selling tickets at the door on the day of the event.
So, no.

Sorry!

Are ticket reservations at all possible? The online purchase is giving me some grief. Vaughn and I have discussed the possibility of driving vs flying, and based on gas prices when I drove to whistler a few weeks ago to see my brother, flying would be cheaper. Where in Van is the Rio Theater? Google maps is deciding to be a bitch, and is telling me it's located in north Edmonton.

I thought I put a map link in the main post.
Regardless, here's a new one:

MAP!

Also: What's wrong with the online thing? We'd like to know so we can try to fix it.

We flew last year, Ferry wasn't an issue.

Likelihood is we'd avoid the drive again, 20hour round trip doesn't leave much for anything but getting there just in time, seeing things, then driving back immediately.

18 extra hours to rock Vancouver is probably worth the couple hundred bucks more than gas would be. ^_^

<--- Is an idiot. I just turned down an awesome seat sale because I didn't want to miss the screening to take a holiday. Now I realize I could have flown to the screening, for super cheap. The sale ended today.

It's not a problem with the online thing, I have this issue with all online purchases. When you don't own a credit card, the internet stops accepting your friend requests.

Do you have PayPal, Rocky? If so, we might be able to work something out.

I still have PayPal, and some cash in the account (identity theft took most of it), but the Paper Bag Ticket site doesn't take PayPal.

If we can get a venue to hang out in, is there anything people would like to see happen at the hangouts.

Some thousands of miles too far to make it, but if I were, I'd love to see a live rendition of some 64k or Rapstar. Costumes optional. Brush up on the lyrics, guys!

A Loading Time would be loverly, but understandably difficult to pull off.
