That goes without question. The real question is: Can he leverage the rest of the LRR crew into some guest appearances?

Oh I could see it now... Morgan's Character tries to "date" the sheriff's daughter and Paul's Mr. Ballsmotron Mk II terrorizes the town.
~I'm probably not serious~
Oh and you can just call me Dave.
No need for the whole screen name.

There's something about Andy; maybe it's his face or his voice, or just his previous acting roles, but I expected him to do something incredibly slapstick, or break out into song during the scene.

Minor tangent, although kinda related: Laura Harris. She's been in a couple of videos. While looking at the Wikipedia page for cast members on 24, I saw that Marie Warner was played by a Laura Harris.

Same person or different person?

If you go by IMDB, apparently I played a Klan Member in "O Brother, Where Art Thou?"

I'm kind of unique as far as Imdb goes, but google seems to think I'm one of many cancer researchers.

Yay Andy!

Also, This thread reminded me of what an amazing video Eyewitness Accounts is. Really really great.

Allllso, IMDB thinks I'm Roger Corman's go-to gaffer.

That Eureka thing was fun. They've got this amazing set on a soundstage; very impressive. The explosion was really, really loud. No acting involved for that take.

I hope it looks alright; I was a bit nervous filming it because being around a fancy film set makes me feel like a fish out of water. But people were nice there and pointed me in the right direction.

Anyway, I don't think Dr. Bubay is likely to make a come back, but that'd be nice. I'd be able to pay off my VISA in one go.

Lol, being Australian in order to keep up to date we've pretty much got to download it. Imagine my surprise when I walk into my loungeroom, two cups of tea in hand and see Andy on screen. My parents actually thought something was wrong with me. I was just staring at the screen for a good minute before I put the tea down, after concerned questions from my folks.

Very unexpected, but awesome! I mentioned it to fellow LRR fans and they thought it was pretty cool too.

Props Andy! How did you manage to land that gig? Agent point you in the right direction and you got the audition?

Right. My agent told me I had an audition. I waited in a small room without about 15 other guys, got called into a smaller room, said the lines, walked onto the street, and two weeks later got a call that said you got the job we want your measurements.

Great stuff Andy!

Its awesome to see someone from LRR on TV (That isn't hitting themselves in the balls with nunchucks)

Still it seemed like your voice was more reserved than it typically is on the LRR videos. Did they tell you to do that? Or did you do that of your own accord?

Maybe Andy turning to the explosion could be a new avatar... I dunno if it'd work, and I won't have time to do it today, but maybe later.

All I've seen of the episode is what was put up on youtube back on the second page.

What actually happens to Andy/Dr Bubay?

Nothing, he's taken to an off-site infirmary and is never seen again, just like all of the other one-shot characters for the show.

Aww

So what was with the memory thing?

edit: I probably should mention that I have never seen the show before and don't in fact know the first thing about it.

Ok, to sum up the show/episode: The show allegedly takes place in a town of super-scientists that work for a government contractor called Global Dynamics (essentially its a company town) that does top secret research and development. Mainly its just a setting for any ridiculous thing can happen with a minimum of justification (actual science in the show is practically non-existent, and so, so, wrong). The show itself is oddly fascinating though, like the GI Joe movie.

In this episode, a device is created that creates a "neural link" with a person's mind to record their memories as they speak, for a "time capsule" project (clip episode time!). Of course, the town's buttmonkey scientist goes in and deletes the recordings of people's memories of him, which portray him as a guy who makes things screw up (which he does). This, in turn, causes everybody to lose their memories, just as the main facility is being locked down to undergo a "sonic cleaning". Cue Andy and mayhem.

I tried to match the volume of the other actors. I felt really out of my element and adopted a "When in Rome ..." strategy.

lol maybe its cuz I don't watch eureka, but it sounds like it's the kind of show where that crazy/awesome voice of yours would do well.

Did you audition in your LRRvoice or in your Eurekavoice?
