LRR Opera

Postby Arius » 09 Nov 2009, 23:27

Exactly what the title suggests.

An incredibly geeky opera. There's been quite a few musical videos before, but an entire video done like an opera?

Or it could just be done as a big musical. Similar to the shows that did musical episodes in the early 2000s.

Reminds of that one Dexter's Laboratory episode.

I support this idea on the grounds that morgan tries to push a ten ton anvil onto kathleen while graham tries to save her and andy swoops in and steals her with his airship

Don't worry, Cybren, I got it. :D

The issue here is that Andy, Jer and Tally are pretty much the only ones that can sing (although Paul said he always sings in Rock Band, and he is Paul, so it's quite possible he might actually be the best singer in the entire world). And opera is more taxing than most other types of singing.

Rock Opera. Less taxing, more win.

Also Graham sings pretty well too (see DB Killed the Internet Star). That video also seems to prove Paul and Morgan can sing. And in the old WT's Kathleen has sung, so I know she can too.

Basically what I'm saying is that the only people we DON'T know if they can sing are Bill, James, Matt, and Tim.

Matt sang for three seconds in DBKtIS. So, we know he can't.

But it's already been done. By those shows that did musical episodes in the early 2000s, as well as LRR in Suspend Your Disbelief.

Awesome, apparently.

My point about people who can sing not necessarily being able to sing opera still stands, though.

Well with a bit of money, we can find out during Desert Bus.

Tim can sing. He used to show up past midnight on my lawn, half-cut, with his guitar, and play Peter Gabriel until I got the hose.

Awkward.

I was also pinning for a musical but I think we also need to include Dale.

I'm wondering if we could sort of revolve the plot around an event from the future continuity from the wiki. I'd suggest the start of the bear wars but
I'm not sure..

Or they could talk to Paul and Storm andsee if they will let LRR do a video to "FROGGER! The Frogger Musical". It could be pretty funny to see.
