The Adventures of Canadaman and Origami Girl

Postby Merrymaker_Mortalis » 17 Mar 2010, 04:41

As Canadaman has been stapled into LRR lore few years ago, and on an installment of 'Ask Kathleen' she said her ideal superpower would be TK control over paper, wouldn't logical sense dictate a collition of the two would be great?

That's if the Canadaman costume still exists.

I think you could probably get a very impressive looking costume made from folded up paper. And I'm thinking Origami Girl's primary defence could be throwing paper shurikens.

This gave me an idea.

A parody of gritty reboots. Have Canadaman come out looking all dark and gritty.

Build it up as a film trailer promising him to be dark and gritty. Then the reveal is just that the costume has a bit of mud and grime on it.

-Edit-

Also wouldn't Cardboard man be a better partner for Origami girl?

I suppose with that partnership you'd have the unfortunate circumstance of Origami girl accidently folding up Cardboard Man as a weapon when trying to defend herself against their enemies. However, this would probably be a very funny punchline.

Cardboard Man: Oh no! It's an ambush! We are outnumbered by ninjas!

Origami Girl: Fear not! For you see, their secerate Headquarters is an abandoned Paper Factory! I shall defend us with limitless ammunition!

*fight sequence*

Origami Girl: Hurrah! We are victorious! Sciccorz must be close by with the bomb!

*Origami Girl turn and looks at her partner who is now folded into a bleeding cardboard crane in a pool of blood*

Origami Girl: Crap.

I believe Kathleen was referencing the powers over paper that the main characters had in the anime series Read or Die.
