Trying to sleep

Based on the "scumbag brain" meme. Alternatively, they could be trying to get to sleep and these things get in their way.

(Show Rick setting his alarm and laying down, zoom in to his forehead then cut to his brain as a control room or computer lab)

Officer 1: Sir, he appears to be trying to get to sleep.

Captain: Hm... this is early. Haven't even made it to three hours of reddit, bring up tomorrow's schedule.

Officer 2: It looks like Rick has an important presentation to give at 8 am, he's trying to go to bed at a reasonable hour sir.

Captain: Not if I can help it! Caffeine levels?

Officer 1: They're...um...at normal sir?

Captain: Elevate heart rate!

Officer 2: Sir, this is a VERY important presentation, is this really...?

Captain: Don't question me lieutenant! Hit him with adrenaline, I want him fighting to keep his eyes closed!

Officer 1: It's not taking effect captain, he's still dozing off. He's hit that just right level of warm under the covers and cool air on his head.

Captain: Damn! How is he laying?

Officer 2: On his back, sir.

Captain: Then I want his back itching! Activate “that spot he can't reach”!

Officer 2: He is successfully agitated, but there's a problem

Captain: What is it?

Officer 2: He's found the back scratcher we got at the ball game last week.

Captain: What? I thought I ordered us to put that in the trunk and forget about it!

Officer 2: I know, but he found it when he was taking the cooler out.

Officer 1: He's losing consciousness again!

Captain: What's he thinking about?

Officer 1: 80's television sir.

Captain: Fire the “imagining eating a spider in my sleep” synapses!

Officer 2: It's not sticking captain! Heart rate is at an all-time low, breathing is..

Captain: I don't want to hear it! Make him remember the clown-faced fire spiders from that movie!

Officer 2: Still nothing!

Captain: We need time! Fire the falling sensation!

Officer 1: Alright, he's awake, but we don't have long!

Captain: Okay, we need a new angle...

Officer 2: Maybe we should just let him go to sleep captain?

Captain: Not on my watch! Hit the regret sectors! I want that thing he's really ashamed of front and center!

Officer 1: The time he got a boner and was called to the front of the class or the time he threw up on Sarah Franklin in the 10th grade?

Captain: Not good enough! We need...

Officer 2: We're about to lose him!

Captain: Bring up...the sweat pants incident.

(both gasp)

Officer 1: But sir, we only JUST successfully got over that!

Captain: Do it!

(both officers look at each other, then simultaneously put their hands on two buttons)

Officer 1: One...two...three! (they both press it. Moment of intense waiting)

Officer 1: He's wide awake now, sir. (captain sinks back into chair)

Captain: Good job everyone. We've successfully ensured that Rick will be sleepy and unfocused during that presentation. Now, what can we do about those flatulence levels...

I like it. Its funny and it builds up to a good conclusion. Also, it seems like something they'd do.
