Ask Kathleen

Postby Cake » 14 Jul 2007, 04:20

I am a guy. As a guy, I do not know how a girl thinks. I am sure most of you would concur (the males). I think this would be a good opportunity to get inside a woman's head, and see how they think. SO...I propose that you LRR has the occasional "Ask Kathleen" video. We can submit questions to her in a thread, once a while, she can answer them. How 'bout it?

Women aren't some mysterious alien race, beyond all hope of communication or ken. They're just people, for crying out loud.

Nevertheless, I think "Ask Kathleen" would be an excellent WT series. Only not with her explaining the "female mind".

Just spend two straight days with three or more girls only, you'll get an idea of what they do. I've done it, damn is their culture different (for the most part).

I had that girl tied up for three days and she still wouldn't talk to me.

Kathleen, what am I doing wrong?

i know none that would let me stay even a day with them. the most i could afford is 4 hours, and thats at the movie theater.

Its no wonder there culture remains in the shadows to men.
also, even if they are neer to men, they seem to put a mask over and neglect to share any information.

I would love to do an "ask Kathleen"!
Post your questions here, and I'll try to film a whatever thing over the weekend while I'm in Victoria.

I will answer: general advice questions, music questions, questions on grammar, spelling and questions about how to be mean.

I will not answer: Questions about my sex life, questions about Morgan's sex life, stupid questions.

The only problem I can see with an "Ask Kathleen" is there isn't a working dictionary from F-logic to English, so anything she says, probably in her native F-logic tongue, will be incomprehensible to us, the 'inferior' race.

Not aliens, indeed.

Dear Kathleen,

One of my friends has been very depressed because she is failing in summer school and will have to repeat a grade.

She forgets to bring her homework home, refuses to ask people for help if she doesn't know how to do something, won't take my offer of being her tutor, and she sleeps during class.

I know the solutions to how to solve her failing problem should be obvious, but she doesn't recognize that there are problems because "summer school is stupid" (her words, not mine).

Is there an easy way to eaze her through this problem, or should I be very straight forward?

Allen, I don't use "F-logic", and I never have. My appeal is that I am a straight talking lady who takes no guff, and I certainly don't appreciate the thinly veiled sexism in that statement.

In short: Do you have trouble meeting women? The answer is closer than you think.

CyberTractor: Excellent question, I will think about it for a few days though. It is intractible.

Since Kathleen doesn't listen to or participate in the LRRcasts, these questions should probably go here.

What was your response to the outpouring of fan support "Korea" recently received with the influx of votes for it on the TWC poll?

Do you have any plans for where the comic's storyline is going? What are they?

How long does it take you to draw, ink, color, and scan a comic?

Question for Kathleen:

I am generally a shy, private person, but I would like to change that, get out and date, make some new friends (I've had the same friends ever since I can remember) etc. I am a geek, but not so much I would shun the thought of "going outside to play." How would you suggest I go about meeting new people, and where would be a good place to start?

Um, how does one go about finding extending one's musical experience? Is there an indie music web site where I could go and listen to some songs?
