Super Secret Surprise

Postby Paul » 25 Jan 2008, 15:27

You heard that right, LRR is now going to be updating on MONDAY. We will talk about the reasons for this in the podcast, but essentailly it works much better for scheduling.

In any case, remember to come back on Monday for this week's real update!

Hahaha. Good joke Paul. But you know, the point of April Fool's is that it is in April. You aren't allowed to do it early.

This should certainly be interesting, though I'm largely wondering what it'll be like for me to be watching new videos right before college instead of right when I wake up on Saturday (GMT timezone here, this is actually the first time I've been awake for an "update". Go figure)

Nice to see Ash in a video again too, even if it is just as a literal walk on-walk off affair

Hmmm, reminds me of when I was younger and my parents split. Originally me and my sister changed house on Friday nights, but then we changed over to Monday nights. Basically it was so we could plan the week ahead (and mainly weekend).

My parents said it worked better for them, but as for me... eh I didn't see much change, really.

Can't wait for Monday's video, though.

Mondays are fine. That's a good idea, 'cause it gives you guys the weekends to finish stuff up.

Seconded on calling James and Matt the asshat twins. =D

I'm guessing it's so you'll have the weekend to work on the video, instead of trying to get it done during the week and posting on Friday.

(never mind)

Anyway, I was quite disappointed to see that we'll be having less walrus.

The Walrus was my favorite.... :(

But this means Mondays will be less of a drag from now on, so I'm liking it. And is that the Santa with the others that Jer defended from the 2007 xmas special?

He looks like he would've been fine on his own o.o

Eager to hear what happens on Monday.

Oh, and by the way, with updates out on Monday, will podcasts still come out on Wednesday?

I hope someone was there to take pictures of Ash in that witch costume, and be kind enough to post them on the blog.

Haha, who knew Morgan was a furry? Good for you, Morgan, finally showing that you are a true member of the furrydom! Your honesty is inspiring!

Aaaanyways, I chuckled. Nice way of saying "We're updating on mondays," I suppose.

That was really funny. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Asides are pretty much my favourite things ever, even though it's not *technically* an aside.

Also, it totally looked like James only had one arm.

Dammit! I like me some inflatable walrus.

This now makes the end of my week kinda suck without a video to look forward to but on the other hand now Mondays won't suck so much. Yay!

So, last week Graham was in the forums saying, "video's gonna be late. computer crapped out." And everyone was like, "bye to the one video every week streak." And Graham was like, "nuh uh, as long as we get another one out next week, it's still a video per week."

And the video didn't come out Saturday, or even Sunday. The video came out Monday.

Saying "a video each week" really means "a video per week average" is stretching the definitions a bit. But NOW. NOW it all makes sense. High Noon wasn't really late. They just switched to a new schedule, and decided it'd be fun to create some drama ... drama, like in a film or something ... I bet they've been filming us in the forums this whole time, and Monday's video will be us, freaking out on them, and them laughing maniacally at the chaos they can create.

This video, posted on a Friday -- an unusual day to post according to new schedule, is the hint. It's the clue. This will let them enjoy how nobody figured it out, when clearly all the information was out there.

I'm sorry guys. But I've figured it out.
"How many members of a certain demographic group does it take to perform a specified task?" "A finite number: one to perform the task and an additional number to act in a manner stereotypical of the group in question."

The only thing changing will be the day so I personally will only see one problem. My tradion of coming home late at night somewhat intoxicated and being welcome by a new video. Will welcome the vid on monday then!

You know I think Morgan's costume beat out Ashes for pure sexiness. The man knows how to wear a bear suit.
