What popular things do you hate, and why? (It must be hate. No indifference or dislike allowed, sissies)

Pics or it didn't happen. XD

Question: Who did you idolize growing up (eg: a relative, an actor / musician, someone random, THE GODDAMN BATMAN)?
Query: How do you want to be remembered by future generations?

That is all.

Toilet Humour

Postby Elomin Sha » 03 Apr 2008, 15:23

To LRRcast: Sorry for the long precurssor to this question.

I was given a pet lobster by one of my classmates in video game design after he accidently drowned it 20 minutes after buying it.
I used it to scare my flat mates by placing the lobster on a plate in a toilet bowl with a sign in its claws saying: 'Dinner is served, enjoy your meal'. I'm using an eel next time.

My question: As some of you have lived and still do live with each other I was wondering what is the wierdest joke you've pulled on the other and if you haven't what would you do?

Curling

Postby ecocd » 03 Apr 2008, 15:42

I'm an American curler living in Chicago. Do any of you curl? If so, you're my new favorite LRR member. Would you be willing to travel to Chicago for our men's bonspiel? It's Open Bar all weekend, you can crash at my place and I'd even treat everyone to a Second City show.

Okay, I'm confused. I thought you didn't have the bus anymore, that it died or something. If that's a lie, then I'll take the opportunity to ask whether it's more trouble than it's worth. I can't imagine insuring something like a freakin' bus.

Has any crew member (particularly Kathleen) listened to Muse's HAARP yet?

Did they think it was awesome?

Also, do you have any allergies (not counting Jer's allergy to the 3rd dimension)?

Hopefully without making this question serious and totally off-tangent...

What are the crews' views on Scientology and the protest group 'Anonymous'? Do you endorse/support the cause?

Interested to hear you talking about concerts in the podcast! Having just bought my tickets for the Reading Festival, and being super-stoked about the lineup despite it being 5 months away, I am inspired to ask this question(s)!

Do you have many big music festivals in Canada, and indeed, local to you, and if so have you ever attended them (by 'festival', referring to a weekend or at least series of days featuring multiple stages and the opportunity of camping)?
Who did you see?
Fun fest stories?
Would you attend Reading (given the opportunity) having looked at the lineup for this Summer?

his feet padding down, down, down...
One more animal, one more fox to slip away,
feel the mandible,
of the leopard and his prey.

Will any of you be undertaking the Radiohead Nude re-mix project? (If you haven't heard about this, they have taken the Nude track down to its five "cores" and released them on iTunes for the world to remix on their own. Sounds like a lot of fun, at any rate).

In games which include Nuclear bombs as an offensive strategy (RTSs and whatnot), do you use them? If so, do you feel even the slightest pang of remorse? (I do in Civ IV, but not in SC.)

If you had to call Matt and have him tell you what a fucking goon you are because you bought multiple of something for continuity purposes only, what would that something be?

(Inspired by when Matt bought the legendary edition of Halo 3 and an extra copy because the legendary edition case was black and wouldn't go with his collection of games in their cases, and he called Graham to be harrassed about it)

Accents...

Postby Heathen » 05 Apr 2008, 02:28

(Graham) You frequently make excellent attempts at a received pronunciation accent, but since your mother was a scouser (Liverpudlian) (Not an insult), are you able to manage any more regional (and therefore, at least from our point of view, realistic) accents such as, for example, a Liverpudlian, a Mancunian, Scots English or maybe Cockney?

When playing a character in a short, do you refer to the character you're playing in the first, or in the third person when speaking off-handedly? Is there any difference between when you're playing a real character, as opposed to when you play exaggerated versions of yourselves?

Furthermore, when will we see the previously promised Wang of Matt?

Postby Evil Keebler Elf » 06 Apr 2008, 14:07

Do any of the LRR members play the "Grifball" RvB game variant on Halo 3? If so, did any of you participate in the recent "Double EXP" weekend events?

Have you noticed any change in the shirt orders since you started including the ads in front of the new videos?

Here are the Photos.

The front says "I'm awesome period!" that is what Morgan wrote.

My question is: what is the weirdest thing you've been asked to sing?

What do you think of the Naval Warfare genre of Video Games?

Favorite web comics? (Sorry if this has been asked before.)

And, have you lost the game?

If you had to give up either all video games and TV (inc. DVDs, VHS, etc.), or all internet and telephone usage, which would you give up?

Matt said something to the effect of "if we fail at this [i.e. making a comedy website] we could become an online news site instead".

No one is paying you to make videos, so you can't be fired or lose your funding. You're moderately famous and seem to be more-or-less self-supporting through ads, DVD sales, and t-shirts.

Given all that, what would constitute "failure" for you at this point? What, besides a lack of time, would cause you to stop making LRR?

Not to presume, but I think there is a point where not improving would be considered failure. I somehow doubt they want to be working their asses off for the pittance they get off of ads when they're 50.

Edit: Curses, I only just noticed this was in the thread that we're not supposed to post replies in...if only I could delete it...

Note to self: remember when you're in this thread.
