I predict this will be the start of something big within the LRR Canon. This church will be showing up again. You've got a Highlander Pope, zero calorie Blood of Christ, and the nuns...

You know, I might just convert over from Flying Spaghetti Monsterism.

Love the name of the church before it changed for the restart.

Enjoyed the whole skit.

(woot, first post... as in, my post counter will be '1' when i post this :p )

i loved this vid... sometimes it's hard to watch folks make fun of religion most because you can tell that it's an actually attack and not merely poking fun. but in this case, it seems like you guys at least had a lot of fun poking at it. :p

great work... can't wait to hear the pod cast for this one X3

Blast your adverts! The more you make. the more I want a LRR T-Shirt! I just gotta shell out a load of cash to ship it to England.

Good video. I havn't been on the forums for a while to hear about people saying "I'm the first to watch this video" So when the interuption happened, I instantly had to stop it and check to see how many people had watched it. 0 Still :P

As it's been 3 hours since the video went up, I'm guessing Paul rigged the counter for that page to stay at 0. Great writing Kathleen, Paul is Bad-Ass, as if we didn't know that already. Now what else is there to say.....oh, right! MOAR ASH! Since we know James was there, he better have gotten some good shots of her!

actually the one scene I was in, there was no camera man. I had to work around my schedule to go in and do that shot at ten at night after work. which means I when to work with a full corset, skirt, boots and collar in my bag which had to be checked at the end of my shift (akward). graham just set the camera on the stairs for that shot. if it were up to james i'm sure there would have been more boobies.

The content of the video was great.

Its presentation was a little off. Everything was in the room was darkly colored and dimly lit. It gave it a rather gaudy look. All the shots with Graham had a distracting glare on the glass panel behind him from the light. So, I suppose it was just the colors in the room and the lighting that set me off.

Also, Graham was sitting on the wrong side of the desk. Normally when people enter a room, they enter so the person behind a desk is facing them and doesn't have to turn to see the visitor. That may just be me, though.

Of course I emphasize the content of the video is hilarious. ^_^ Good job, Kathleen.

279th!!!!

Take that pinata bags!

I like the video but for some reason the big tea pot disturbed me.. I don't know why random things of late have been making feel, uneasy.

Like I threw a carrot on the compost the other day cos it had a slight bend at the bottom of it and I was just so weirded out by it.... :/

But yeah like the video I wouldn't say laugh out loud for myself but thats probably just my sensitivities.
It was really too big:

I really liked how Graham looked like Father Ted in the second part of that.
Quite nice.

I think I'm going to go watch that now...

Offended

Postby Krymzn » 14 Apr 2008, 13:14

Let me be the first to be offended by the video.
I have loved many of the LRR videos in the past, liked many more, and recommended to many.

Taking cheap shots at Catholicism, especially the Virgin Mary, is disappointing.

I look forward to your video that does the same for Islam. Or are you too scared to do that?

Cheap shot? this is more of a gentle poke at the already scabbed over wounds left by EVERYONE ELSE WITH A SENSE OF HUMOR.

Didn't they do that already with the Mope joke? I have a feeling they just went with what they, and the majority of their audience knows best, which is unsurprisingly the Catholic church. If they were located in a historically Islamic culture, Islamic jokes would make more sense.

I personally enjoyed shocked Paul squeaks. They were great.

And now we get to hear the LRRsons take you to task handily in the podcast, since they'll read that before they record it.

James, I trusted you and you have failed us. There were not nearly enough boobies in that video. You Fail.

Other than that, an amazing video XD, I liked better the first name in the church.
