Uwe Boll: Decision 2008

Postby Paul » 21 Apr 2008, 16:56

I'm beginning to think that maybe Uwe Boll is just a necessary part of the universe, like Galactus. My fear is that if the Stop Boll petition succeeds and he stops making movies, maybe Judd Apatow and Peter Jackson will also have to stop, just to balance things out.

Gawd, I hope not! We need halfway decent directors to balance out the "Street Fighter" and "Double Dragons" movies with...substance?

Not to weirdly focus on Matt, but: dude, have you been misplaced some mass? New haircut? Whatever you did, it's working.

(Do you have a LRR shirt on under the suit? That could account for it.)

I think it's a somewhat faulty green-screen that did it, Bob...

The green screen takes off ten pounds. And your ears. D:

The ad made me lol. Nicely done. I love how both the advert and the actual vid managed to work in the word "intercourse." XD

More Action Nine A9 news reporting. Morgan was fantastic as Chip the Weatherman turned statistician (I'd watch him every day...) and while the whole thing was well executed, I think Morgan's part of the script was pretty much the only funny part.

That and the Jehovah's Witnesses comment. Oh those poor people. So abused.

I liked the beginning add, steadily climbing anti-Boll numbers, and Grahams talk about weaponizing his movies.

'Siege' is misspelled. Also, the intro section is missing the hyphen in 'under-appreciated' and the question mark at the end of the question.

And it's not just the greenscreen, it's in the ad too.

Cue the bizarre Matt-luster-person. (Is LS male or female?)

Every LRR video I see about Uwe makes me even more frightened to see one of his movies. I've steered clear of them up to this point but I almost want to watch one just so I know what a truly horrible movie is...

Awesome. I'm one of the first coupla thousand to see this video. And it rocks! Nice job, all, REALLY funny, and I sure wish that Uwe Boll just suddenly implodes one day, forming a small singularity that, in the process of destroying him, sucks in all of his tortured abominations that he calls "work."

And who was the pretty girl in the commercial?

Furthermore stop knocking Florida. Starting to get old somewhat soon. Maybe. Keep it in mind, perhaps.

I'm still fiving about "Chronicles of Ride-Dick."

...Gnyah...fucking retard...funny...laugh...defecation....pants...parakeet...

Great stuff, sirs.

I dunno... I give Uwe Boll credit for actually going out and saying this in his own voice. Then again, I've never seen one of his movies...

Hey, as terrible as his past movies are, go watch the trailer for Postal, it actually looks like it's gonna be pretty awesome.

And as always, fantastic video and ad.

Same. I have only seen House of The Dead, which was one of the worst movies I have ever seen, but My opinion about him is changing.

I'm actually liking his attitude, I mean it's like he is the ultimate troll for "gamers" who more often than not take this stuff too seriously. I like house of the dead, but his movie didn't suddenly ruin the enjoyment of playing that game as if it was suddenly viciously raped and I couldn't get any fun anymore (and pending lawlsuit for damages).

This is why 3PS3s is my favorite LRR video EVER. Gamers got so furious and bent out of shape about it that they couldn't even see it was an obvious joke. it really filters who has a sense of humor and those who should take a chill pill or go outside. I could never "get" what is up with them and why its so important; but I guess thats why the phrase "Internet: Serious Business" is needed. Im sure you have all seen what happens on a forum to someone who says "I don't like halo"; I know penny-arcade started a shitstorm in 2001 with their comic parodying their experience with the original halo.

So pretty much Boll is the big bad troll of both movies goers and gamers. He is probably just laughing it up. Godspeed.
