What is your religion?
What is your religion?
I figured that if it's okay to ask LRR about this, it should be okay to post a thread. If it gets out of hand, a lock would be suitable.
I am interested in the LRR forum's religious make-up. I know there are Jews (I am looking at you emma) and Christians, and atheists like myself.

Totally unrelated, but your avatar is you right? Where is that picture taken? I always look at it and think something along the lines of ski lift.
Not a ski lift but on the ferry back from Vancouver. I am siting against a window in which the sky is reflected. Even in August it gets cold on the water in the evening so I had my coat on. Never visit Vancouver with out a rain jacket.
We are all made of star dust. However we are also made of nuclear waste.
Remember to think before you post.

Try living here without one.
Say, do I know you from somewhere, Chrush?

Why isn't LRRmonism up there?
To the question - Atheist. I don't believe that there is a God, single or plural. Nor do I believe in an afterlife of any sort. I decided about a year ago to live my life as positively as possible and help those around me that need\would like it.
Interesting to see the bulk of voters (that chose a religion instead of Atheism\Agnostic) are Christian or thereof so far.

I think part of the problem is that some people distinguish between cultural tradition and their belief systems.
Thus, someone can be an agnostic/atheist, but associate culturally with Catholicism and Judaism and whatnot.
Is the OP question asking about belief, or about cultural identity?

another good thing to ask would be what religion were people raised in. I was raised lutheran, but now i'm more agnostic... i guess its similar to what melendwyr said about cultural identification..
Hello world, remember me? I'm the sad little fuck that you failed to see, who you should have recognized When you had the chance. Hello motherfuckers now its time to dance

I love how people remember this. I suppose I do mention it fairly often?
