I think you'll be intrigued by Myst V, Graham. In some ways, you get a better view of the D'ni civilization than you ever had before - and you learn the secret of their power.

It's not pretty.

Doesn't someone you know have a PC that you can use for a while? I think it was worth it.

Also. Uh. I really dislike the audio. EVERYBODY is twice as quiet, I had to turn my volume way up to even hear it, which then makes every other sound (MSN, AIM, WC3, anything) super, super loud. Anyone else do something similar?

I prefer how you normally do it. This way everybody pops or is really quiet. A lot of stuff I just couldn't hear with my sound at max.

I prefer the normal way. I might have missed it, but I'm not certain why exactly you decided to opt for the microphones instead of your usual way; was it just the number of people making it hard? I prefer the regular way, but if the volume was up on these, I see no reason why it wouldn't work just fine.

Another great podcast! However, the mics seemed to act up at times but it still turned out great.

On a side note LoadingReadyBarbershopQuartet - I'd buy it :P

And yay 100 podcasts!

Oh, just remembered. Graham, what's that movie called, again? I know I've heard of it before, I just don't know how it's spelled.

I think the sound was more balanced between everyone, this week. There were less people vanishing midway through their sentences or being just generally inaudible. The obvious exceptions were the mic being handled between two people and the time Paul was gesturing with his microphone.

On a different note, Matt seemed more disgruntled than usual:
Matt wrote:It's good for the audience because I probably won't be able to cut in as often.

Every person that is listening to this podcast right now is screaming at their monitor,"No! Don't make him talk louder!"

Everybody hates me.

I'm not usually a fan of the psychological field, but if you're like this in the real world then you may want to consider some counciling. That much self loathing cannot be healthy.

Lastly, the audio levels from last week, and then this week:

Why wait? You can try it again this week!

A bonus podcast would be easier than a bonus video, after all. Probably not as easy as updating the blog, though.

If you're mad for Tesla you should read Matt Fraction's graphic novella "THE FIVE FISTS OF SCIENCE" which pits Tesla and Mark Twain vs Edison and horrible Lovecraftian monsters. It's pretty spiffy.

That is the most amazing idea I have ever heard, with the only possible exception being the one in which Abraham Lincoln spontaneously becomes a kung-fu master.

Best beer in Canada is at Spinnaker's, a brew pub in Victoria.

Warsteiner is a really good for its price - $8,25 for 2 L of German beer!

My weekly dose of Matt was far too quiet, I must say. But I can't be angry with him, so I'll hate Graham over it.

Furthermore, I contest that everybody BUT Matt should be removed from the crew. Then the multitalented colossus that is Matt Wiggins could truly shine.

You could even change the name to "LoadingReadyMatt."

The (lack of) loudness was a massive issue.

More to come.
