These singstar mics, they've brought nothing but trouble! I want to punch them. Punch them up!

Yes, so podcast was short and there is not much to say about it.

Hm... so... erm... I feel bad asking about this, but... do I still... you know, get a forum rank? From last week's podcast? I mean, no pressure, I know you guys are busy, but... just... didn't want to be forgotten.

I nominate AlexanderDitto for the title "Emotionally Needy".

Speaking of forum ranks, I find it amusing that JJ has the second most posts, only under Graham, and he still doesn't have a forum rank.

I'm gonna join Alex here, can I have MY forum rank (or someone elses) It's actually been like a month now guys :(

I'm going to be different and say I'm glad you edited the podcast like that. I would have listened to it either way, but it probably would have irritated me if it was statiky and echoed, and you would have gotten MUCh more complaints on this thread.

Koyaanisqatsi

Fantastic movie, if you're into really strange cinema, or are high.

If you're both it'll BLOW YOUR MIND (and eat all your food).

Aww, yeah, now I feel bad for asking. Mr. Crustacean should definitely get his first.

Right after the last podcast, I went to try to do a Google Search on Koyaanisqatsi, but couldn't find it, because I couldn't spell it even nearly correctly. XD I had to keep changing letters, and I finally gave up and went through the director's name or whatever other information Graham gave.

Koyaanisqatsi: breaks the spelling bee champion's heart.

Y'know, they might just be using the Private Message feature to communicate.

Or maybe there's a secret forum. Does that really matter?

There's totally a secret forum; I remember them talking about it, either during Desert Bus or in one of the Podcasts.

No! I remember. It was a podcast (I don't remember which one) where Paul showed up some place like an hour before everyone else, and it was on the secret forum but [SOMETHING HAPPENED] so Paul got a balloon.

I think...

Koyaanisqatsi seems like a boring film. Just a bunch of images and short films. Now, obviously to a filmmaking professional, or even a really talented amateur it might seem really awesome, but myself, being only an amateur, find that kind of stuff boring.

I like dialogue. I like storylines. I like plot twists. I like action sequences. Koyaanisqatsi, to me, doesn't sound very entertaining. I'd rather watch a slideshow from my cousin's wedding.

It's more than just random shots, there is a narrative. It's just not... fast.

Like I said, it's not a movie that you say, "All right guys, let's watch some fucking Koyaanisqatsi!!!" but I'm sure even someone who isn't a film maker can enjoy it. It's an art film, using film in a different way than most movies, but it's awesome.

Maybe watch it before you go to bed or something? I don't know. I occasionally put the DVD on while I'm cleaning my room.

Fair enough. Maybe I'm just an action junkie.

And I do know about the separation in sections. So, yes. There is a narrative. But, everyone has tastes. I'll give it another try. If I still don't like it, I can always switch to watching Sean Connery kick SPECTRE ass.

My friend has the best story related to this:

He was going to ski for the first time, and was on the bunny slopes practicing with the instructor. As everyone else was struggling to get up, he couldn't even fall over if he tried. He wanted to whoosh down to the bottom of the hill, and thus he did so with brilliant accuracy, and even a snow flare at the end. The instructor said to him "son, why are you in this class?"
He replied, "Because I want to learn to ski."
"You already know how to ski!"
"I swear this is my first time."
"Well then how, do you know how to do it already then?"
"I saw James Bond do it."
I am going to go watch a Image

Indeed. Here in Italy, I bought the entire collection. In Italian. Thankfully, it's also in English. I spent 5 Euros on the first, and 10 on every other one. So, all totaled, that's about 205 Euros. Which, converted to Canadian $ would be 319 dollars, according to today's exchange rate. Yeah. Wallet rape a la James Bond.

Graham I'm not sure of the top of my head what it is but I do think theres a mod out for Audisurf which enables you to record from seperate mics (eg: USB mics) and link the recordings into single audio files.

From there, theres a script ran that filters the background or repeated noise out from the MICs that is more prevailant in one of the other outputs. That might help as well. I REALLY need to look it up though buts bedtime for me so I'll get on it tommorow once I'm home from work.
It was really too big:

I give you this instead
