Holy shit. I didn't know what this was until I clicked on the link and saw the little symbol above the word "Reboot". FUCKING WANT.

This is AMAZING.
I grew up on Reboot. Like, I'm actually IN AWE. I've watched it since before I could remember.

I saw the Reboot special play on YTV last Summer. The nostalgia almost killed me.

I've been Googleing around, and it sounds like this might be the release date of the comic from the contest to determine the plot of the next series, rather than the series itself. If anyone knows anything more, post it.

HOLY FUCK YES.

I would never have known about it if it weren't for this thread. I'm so glad I clicked! In fact, even a click to a picture of puppies snorting cocaine off of a stripper's ass wouldn't have been anywhere as satisfying as the click to this thread.

Awwwwwwright! :)

I was in my 20's when this first came out, and I actually started tuning into YTV just for this; the CGI-style grabbed my eye, but the voice acting started pulling me in (TONY JAY!!!!) and then the quirky humour in the writing kept me. Heh; Mike. :D

I'm not exactly ZOMG-WTF-BBQ!!! about this, probably because I don't live as close to the home of Mainframe Productions as most LRRites/mons/etc. (and YES, I envy you for that), but I'll remember to keep one eye on this.

THANK YOU.

Heck, for those that just 'didn't get it' by your own admission, dwell on this:

The team basically stopped doing reboot cause they had like no freedom at the last 2 seasons. Now that they have moneh, they'll prolly do more, and in better quality. I tried watching reboot but the terrible animation really ruined it. It looked so good when i was a kid too.

It made Lavos make a serious post.

A peaceful day in the city of mainframe. Bob and Enzo play a game, Dot cooks dinner and OH NO!

INCOMING GAME!

Panic breaks out! Everyone is running for cover! Bob, Dot, and Enzo run for the slowly falling purple cube to their possible doom...

That's why.
I can't think of a signature.

I totally forget, do the Reboot peoples actually eat? If so, what? Do they have digestive tracts and such? Do they take nice neat clusters, eat them, and then crap them out fragmented?

Reboot was on CITV and they aired all the series right up to the end with them "surfing" the internets. In my living memory it dropped off mid-season with no conclusion.
It was really too big:

I give you this instead

As far as I'm aware they got to the last series, with the stained-glass windows that all had enemies associated to them, but the series was taken off CITV before the conclusion. Much like Knightmare -- remember that?

Wait, what? ENDED with them surfing the net?

you never saw them come back to Mainframe, tear up Megabites burnt out postapocalyptic regime, have the system rebooted, another enzo created from the system backup because Matrix's icon was in Gamesprite mode, and all the Daemon stuff?

Man, I heard like two years ago that they were bringing it back, but I hadn't really heard anything about it since. Reboot was awesome - it was sort of like Animaniacs in that it had everything kids like, but great pop-culture and science jokes.

Who knew? The people who didn't keep reading knew:
Rainmaker Entertainment has announced that they will produce three feature length animated ReBoot films over the next few years.

I think the online thing was sort of a "Testing the Waters" idea, to find out how much of the old Reboot fanbase still existed(which, I think, is ALL OF IT). Apparently they've deemed it a total success, and are going with three movies, soooo...... Yeah.
