Looks like we jumped the gun by defending Matt in the podcast because I haven't seen a bad word against him. Thanks guys!

Honestly, I think the only reason the fans are so hard on Matt is that all of you guys are so hard on him. He sort of took on the role of whipping boy by LRR-consensus.

It should be clear by now that he is totally awesome.

Re: Scientology

You people are tolerant to the point of absurdity. Why? Is it the money, the women? Or were you just born with hearts full of neutrality?

Dude, we think Scientology is fucking dumb as shit, but we're not about to go off on a crazed rant in our podcast.

Nor are we going to in this thread.

Way to harsh a perfectly good Futurama reference, Graham.

Did I hear Montreal Expos?...*cough*.. Washington Nationals....

(I had to wiki where they went to naturally)

Just one team in the league.. Toronto Blue Jays.

92 and 93 seasons were really fantastic here in Toronto, but that strike really killed the sport here. There's a part of me that knows we're bitter that we've never faired well in the playoffs again. Now we've lost half our teams.

I can't shake the feeling that the Hockey lock out really put a damper on the NHL for me.. but there's a part of me that knows Im just bitter that the fucking Leafs havent been in the playoffs since.

Canada has only one Major League Baseball team as the Montreal Expos were moved to Washington DC in 2004.

Montreal Expos were actually moved to Washington and are now the Washington Nationals. Sorry for stealing one of your teams...

I am nearly finished finished downloading the podcast.
I started about 2 hours ago.

Because of evil satellite broadband companies chargin $50 a month for 1GB of download before throttling (this gigabyte was used by day 12 of the cycle, we're on day 16 at the moment), I was barely even able to watch the video (went to parents' work where DSL is plentiful.)
