taken from kotakuUwe Boll's Postal is getting a limited release. A very, very limited release. Make that very, very, very limited. Four theaters, actually. Says Boll via press release:
Theatrical distributors are boycotting Postal because of its political content. We were prepared to open on 1500 screens all across America on May 23rd. Any multiplex in the U.S. should have space for us, but they're afraid... We have even tried to buy a few screens in New York and Los Angeles, and they won't let us even rent the theaters! I urge independent exhibitors to contact us and book 'Postal'! Audiences have been expecting the film and I don't think exhibitors should censor what gets played in U.S. theaters.
The movie will open on May 23rd in four cities on four movie screens. Yep.

Wow, that's pretty intense. My school occasionally shows movies before they get released, I wonder if I could convince my Video Production teacher to get Postal played, as an example of what NOT to do in a film... Man, that would be epic.

Also from the Kotaku comments on that page:
He's better off just dumping the thing on a pirate site and hope someone watches it.
Don't like the new ads on Kotaku? You can use a fine piece of coding from Kotaku themselves! Just use the following modified URL to access them & you'll see no more ads for awful beer.

Um... scat porn. Scat porn.
Do I need to explain what 'scat' is? Please, please say no.
There is no way that you can possibly get this shown in your school unless your school administrators have closed-head injuries... which they may have, so I guess it's worth a try.

I don't think he means that kind of skat....
I am sad, I was actually going to pay to see this movie. Ah well, I guess I can try to find it on the internet and pirate it, like I did when I found out DOA was not going to be shown in north america.

edit: Who would think this has too much political content?

Well that was a touch prophetic.
Also, is this seriously meant to be a film for Postal? He fails again
