HOORAY.

Stay tuned for a possible blog update. I am in the midst of a reformat/reinstall on my main computer so if it doesn't get up today, you know why.

I now have the idea for an MGS boss named Fire Extinguisher Grizzly. He wears a volcano suit, and has a giant fire extinguisher on his back which shoots either flame or liquid nitrogen jets.(that is, it can shoot both, though obviously, only one or the other will be used at a time.)

Volcano suit = those silver suits that geologists wear when collecting magma samples.

I had a comment on the answer to one of the questions, but I forgot it within 3 seconds, so it couldn't have been important.

Maybe you guys could start a HAZMAT suit and Labcoat shop to suppliment your incum.

Something I've never understood. I can download the movies alright, but when I download the podcasts, or the Orc Song as posted in the blog, I get a separate internet screen with a little quicktime viewer. How do I download the actual sound file?

Hmmmm, Oblivion is close, but I'll present .hack as the closest thing to an MMO that you can play without actually playing an MMO. That was kind of the whole idea of the series.

The other thing you can do is remove Quicktime from your computer. Your computer will thank you.

I heard Paul talking in the podcast and he mentioned a cardboard tube samurai code. That was not in Max Payne. That was in the Legacy of Kain: Defiance. Just something I happen to remember from some ancient EGM.

What about Phantasy Star? They were decent games in their day (and great compared to most other Master System/Mega Drive games), but they certainly weren't MMOish.

Phantasy Star Online despite it's name was primarily an offline game that was the boring, dungeon crawly, MMO-ish experience ever.

It's actually the other way around.
Primarily online, yet gives the option to play offline for splitscreen multiplayer/
i dont know what's happening anymore

Hmmmm. interesting. I will say .hack also has gobs upon gobs of such dungeons (I'd say 30000 possibilities is a conservative estimate), though with the option of a surprisingly good storyline. I'd have to play PSO first, though.

In response to Matt's comment about the Titanic, the Titanic sunk in 1912, not 1914.
