That was pretty funny. It's so cliche for Americans to make fun of of America these days, it's nice to see Canadians making fun of Canada.

How do you guys do that wobbly pause effect?

O Canada is a terrible anthem, but if we're gonna change it to anything it should be "Barrett's Privateers" by Stan Rogers. Or basically anything by Stan Rogers, really.

We've been making fun of our country for YEARS. And we don't do it spitefully, either, we do it playfully, because we love our country. <3

My favorite parts are when it points a Quebec and says "sometimes this bit thinks it's france.", and when it says "Home ON native land might be more accurate.". I like the second one because I am mostly first nations myself. I forgot were also the country with the longest coast line... and yes i looked that up on Wikipedia.

It's true though. so many national anthems need a remake to make it more accurate to the current situvation.

I'm looking at you US.

And at myself. We really need to update ours as well

Anyway, very nice vid :)

Actually there are two islands just off of Newfoundland on the east coast of Canada that are owned by France. They are called St. Pierre and Miquelon. Stick that in ur search bar and wiki it. 8)

Hey, at least your national anthem is about the Canadians, ours is just a song glorifying one English(wo)men. I suspose ours gets updated everytime our monarch is replaced by one of the opposite gender, though.

Oh, the video was awesome, we have beavers too now!

This was a very very good video. It strikes me odd that you haven't ever had a bad Canada day video, ever. Maybe Canada is just such a good source of humor, that it stands up on its own.

Agreed! I'd say above 80% of us in England couldn't care less about our Queen, And our anthem is about God saving her. I'd also say the same amount of people don't care for religion.

But I can't think about what England Has done in recent times to credit a national anthem. We created the internet! Lots of people play Football. We have a big "Yob" culture. We've pissed off most countrys in the world by joining America's "War of Terror". And i'm pretty sure our last 2 priministers have sucked off Bush. Now to make that into a song somehow *Thinks for a while*

Liked the video btw. Canada's national Anthem is the only other one I know (Part from England's) so don't change it, or i'll have to remember more stuff :D
Bring on the trumpits!
