I, also, fail to comprehend. What is it counting down to, and when is it counting down until?

Anyone that did not get that this was CT right away loses!
I beat the snes one every way and so many times I had double star for all my stats. I hope there is something new for me in this one, or that maybe it is a new game all together. this is the first I have heard of this and am very excited!!!!

Way to take a statement and make it equivalent to an irrational extreme, Kawaii. That's pretty constructive.
Its one thing to look forward to a brand new game that no one has played and actually spend money on it.
Its another thing to look forward to a game which has been released on both SNES and Playstation, and is going to be released on yet another system.
Its the same game. Same story. Maybe a few extras that don't significantly add to the plot. What makes it worth buying?

I can't think of a signature.

it's a really good game. Also there are a lot of people, namely kids that were not alive in 1995 that have not played it yet. For myself, I will probably get it if it has the bonus cut scenes on it. load times made the game impossible to play on the PlayStation and so I never got to see most of the cut scenes. it was also a long time ago that I beat that game to death so playing it casually on my ds would be fun.
hows that for an explanation?

Never heard of Chrono Trigger...
I also just lost the game.
Also on the topic of exciting games coming out L4D was just announced ages ago but for some reason I had to go to Canada to find out about it. Also I cannot sleep as I am currently up which is 11am my time in the UK.
Where as in Canada is 6am in the morning. Ah well at least I get this hotels full bandwidth muwahahaha.

Hopefully they port it a little better than last time.. Don't get your hopes up just yet. At least this time its going back on a cartridge. Though for its faults, the PS1 port has served me very well on PSP.
I can imagine some interesting ways to incorporate the touchscreen in CT. Point/Click combo attack management would be cool and more immersive than the standard menu system. We'll have to see whether or not SE bothers to add anything new to this version.
I just hope they dont decide to 'remake' the game.. Low polygon counts didnt do the characters justice in Chrono Cross and its certainly not floating my boat in Chibi Final Fantasy IV.
