July 17 :: The Return of The Bill
So, even though we decided to give out a rank already, the contest is still ongoing.
Continue posting your entries in last week's thread.
Safe to say, we already have our eyes on an upcoming winner, so if you're entering with new stuff, bring the heat.
Sorry it's late, but you'll know soon enough what I was working on that kept me.

And it'd better be something totally awesome, or I'll know the reason why!

Because that never works.
I was in LA, and upon asking for sweetened iced iea, I was presented with a glass of unsweetened, and the bowl of sugar packets for coffee.
It. Never. Worked.
And this happened a lot, I could never get it right.
Eventually I just started ordering Coke. At least they couldn't fuck that up.
Canadian iced tea sounds like Southern sweet tea.
Why would you ruin a perfectly good tea by pouring that much sugar into it?

I was visiting my best friend in Portland with another friend last year and when we went she kept ordering Iced Tea, and she did like, four times while we were there and couldn't figure out why it tasted bad. We kept telling her that she needed to put in her own damn sugar and she didn't get the hint.
She eventually came to the same realization of Coke to say the least.

KAHNLEE BAHT YUR TUNG YANKEE! Seriously, sweet tea from the south is like a fine wine. It takes on multiple personalities. PLUS, EEEEVERY proper southern woman has a recipe for sweet tea. It's like a marriage requirement: Homemade buttermilk biscuits, sweet tea, and cornbread. I should know, my mom lived in West Virginia as a child.
The only reason she doesn't do them now is because my dad's from Philly and was in the Navy.

I don't put sugar in real, actual tea. But sweetened iced tea is the shiz.
Oh good lord no. Hot tea has either Splenda or honey in it for me. Sweetened iced tea is great. Though I heard if you need to make iced tea and sweeten it by the glass, simple syrup in a bottle is the best thing to use.

You guys get 10,000 hits a day? Dang, I get like 705 hits/day on average. If I'm lucky I'll get more than 1,000 on any given day (Though on that token I've been pretty lucky recently).
Unless of course you mean 10,000 views...in which case I'm even more royally done for.
