what? pies are easy!
The only hard thing is learning to stop mixing your dough soon enough, so that it keeps its springyness.

Don't be intimidated by the powerful challenge of the pie. If you can conquer a rolling pin, you've got it made.

However, if you want to take the easy way out... make a pie with a graham cracker crust. ;)

I made an apple pie from scratch like two months ago, the great thing about it was not only did I make the crust and filling from scratch. The apples came from my backyard. I would put a pic here but it seems it got deleted off of my camera :(

I do not know! As much as I would like to live in England, I'm afraid I must admit to living in Florida.

I did not know who McLovin is. I had to look him up. I never saw Superbad (and have little desire to), but I must admit there is some resemblance. It seems he is 19, as am I, and is extremely nearsighted, as am I. Curious!

I suppose there must be an alternate universe in which I star as McLovin' in a major motion picture, and one Christopher Mintz-Plasse is currently applying to Graduate schools in the hopes of getting his PhD.

Does this mean I have to kill him or something?

Then again most people see everyone with dark hair and glasses as looking the same. I'm not Harry Potter, damn it.

I think we should have a LRR pie-off.

Even if no one else wants to do it, it gives me the drive to make a pie then post it.

Things I learned from the picture posting thread!
*Ben Affleck watches LRR
*Tensen is an artist, has a goatee, and hears a black beret
*How to make a good pie
*->Corollary: It's every woman's responsibility to learn to make pie?
*Lavos is [very] Asian
*Wraith and Siobhan turn each other on...it's creating some confusing feelings is what it's doing.

*Absolutely nobody cares what I look like.

Your dashing good looks have struck us all dumb. I imagine that, were you to have lived in the 18th century, you would be an eminent young gentleman, owning a moderate fortune and a large estate somewhere in Hamtonshiretown where you would hold balls and parties and wear a top hat and monocle and all the girls would swoon when you walked by, talking of London finances.

Also your post was aaaall the way on page 2. Early adopters always get the short end of the stick.

That picture is why you do not leave me unattended in a botanical garden! All the different species make me giddy.

Now if I said that noone cared what I looked like, I'd have a better reason. I was even the first person on page 10!

Cake - If I get the job up there, I'll make you a pie for all of your assistance and information. (Haven't got ANY information back from them yet, but I'm hoping by the end of this week I will, even if it is a negatory. I don't like not knowing.)

I'm up for a Pie-off, as long as it's timed well. I'm having surgery a week from today, so it's going to be tough to get the timing worked out. (I live alone and won't be able to eat solid foods. I'm NOT going to waste a pie. *sigh* )

Don't worry folks... nobody cared what I looked like either, or the pup for that matter. (How can you NOT comment on such an adorable pooch?) Don't let it affect your self-esteem.

None of them are individual. They are all dressed the same, and all playing the same instrument with the same kick!

Ah... but their shoes are different. Look at the varied soles (of the varied souls).

Also, those kicks are not the same... from a dance choreography standpoint it's fairly horrid. Not that I could do better, though.
